Atomic has a timing chain kit listed for about $700. What else is in it apart from a hd chain?  The chain by itself is only $200.

Guides and tensioner. BUT if yours is ok just re-use them. They do get wear grooves. And easy to install while its all apart.

I just used this GENUINE kit. You really dont need HD chain. Plenty of big power cars on factory gear.

Check the top of the RHS guide. It can snap off.

This is one that is intact.

Fair dinkum, all I did was text my missus a heart lolly saying "you'll do" and still got some.

In other news I took my son for a drive in the van today and he reckoned it went fast. I was at half throttle and vtec hadn't even kicked in. It was anything but fast. Haha he'll get a shock when I get the falcon going again :launch:

My local racetrack sells e85 for $1.49/L Wooohoooo!!!!!!!! :yay:

I was doing a 90 odd km round trip for it before and now I don't have to.

It's 10 cents cheaper at United but I'm pretty sure I'll make that up by not driving nearly 100km to get it :dancing:
