Sounds like you need to take your coffee machine to the tuners!

I can't help ya with this one man apart from to say, try different things until it works, which I'm sure you've already thought of yourself.

Here's my caffeine stack

Yep I use a full coffee cup rather than those toy cups haha

As said before our machine has 3 pour variations. So I use the largest pour which gets almost a third of a mug then press the button again and it spits out a third more using whats left in the already used pod then add the milk. I hope that makes sense.

My partner says start at 9 and go up in intensity if you need. Also if that doesnt get your heart started then 2 shot it.

Lol, just want a quick morning cup with the xmas pressie.

There's about 500 different capsules - most are for poofs.

Just seeing if anyone's found a good one

"envivo lungo" is our go to im told. I really cant help you much past that as I find the whole nespresso shopping experience to be quite pretentious and I keep well clear of it haha

Haha I had a similar conversation with womend bellbat when I first bought hp tuners.

You already know how to make coffee Rab. You just have to learn a new machine.

+1 for the stronger flavours

I always use 10 Ristretto or 12 Kazaar.

Nespresso is the only automatic machine coffee that I've found gives me an actual coffee hit and takes care of the cravings. While it is obviously not a cafe spec standard, I reckon it gets a heck of a lot closer than some pretty pricey home stuff.

I just bought an Aeropress - the coffee tastes amazing from that but too much mucking around for weekday mornings.

Yep, got an Aeropress too.

Am happy to spend time making a decent coffee, but, as you say, not 1st thing when it's a quick, decent, big hit that's needed.

Do you make a big mug, add a dash of milk?
