Awesome gumtree experience yesterday. Chucked a couple of left over roof sheets left over from the cubby house build on gumtree for free. Guy who picked them up gave me a 6 pack and said thanks for taking the time to put them up and not just dump them. Win win all round!

Nice one.

I did the same thing recently with a dozen corrugated iron sheets from when I replaced our front/side fence. I didn't get any beer though lol. The guy showed up and without knocking on the door just started helping himself. I didn't even know he was there until I heard the sheets banging out the front.

The same thing happened when I gave away a mattress. The dude showed up and just walked onto my front porch and grabbed it without knocking. The missus alerted me to two guys out the front with a ute in the driveway.

You'd think people would knock on the door ay?!

South Australian folks are weird af though so it doesn't really surprise me. They don't say excuse me when they are in the supermarket either, they'll just sneak up behind you or rub past you :flash2:

Yeah I reckon my ACT gumtree experiences have been a lot less weird than my SA gumtree experiences. On average at least - there is always a weirdo or two!

Speaking of buying second hand stuff, anyone upgraded to brembos and want to sell off the brackets that suit 322mm discs? Up for new discs soonish so figured I might as well upgrade. I like the factory look I've got going on the BA so unlikely to upgrade to bigger wheels to suit brembos.

Can anyone recommend a good set of wheel nuts that suit "tuner" style wheels?

Have had dramas with since fitting the rota wheels. 1st set were ok until I fitted the new diff with arp studs, one but decoded to strip on its way out at the end of the stud what a PITA.
The new set seemed ok when they went on but they're alloy so I'm not confident in then lasting more than 2-3 sessions being torqued properly even with anti seize.
