Fpv Build Numbers

Recommended Posts

I picked up my new tornado ute today and I see it has a build number in the gear lever area. Does anyone know how many of each was made of each model gt, typhoon, tornado etc?

That's about right Senna.

I had a BA Tornado build number 0036 and when I bought the BF Tornado I managed Build Number 0001 and Typhoon Build Number 0001

Then Bf 2 came out and the numbers start all over again.

Unfortunately as there was so many built the build numbers are probably not as valuable as what they would have been if they kept the numbers down.

Just make sure you don't buy a P000* as that is a Pre release or Press car and usually Pre production vehicle.. Test Pig you could call it :spit:

There is no model specific data.

My build plate is "F6 Typhoon 0217" (ba2), a friend of mine has EXACTLY the same build plate in his BF.

The types are GT, GT-P, Pursuit, Super Pursuit, F6 Tornado, F6 Typhoon, F6 Typhoon R-Spec, Force 6, Force 8, GT 40th and Cobra.

Apart from the obvious ones that are only one year the exact plates are repeated over and over again.

My GT-P (BA) was build 0066, it is blueprint, the BA Mk2 GT-P build 0066 is lightning strike and there are two others BF & BF2..........ALL ARE IDENTICAL

Does this make it clear?

Only 500 BF R Specs though. Cars are better but the ownership certificates are much more crappy than the BA ones :sleepystuff:

Opppps. You are correct. that's better than 500.

No 40, a charchol coloured auto is still sitting at Titans in WA. If it's still there when the FG comes out it should be an exceptional price. I am thinking seriously of buying it and putting it away in storage for 10 years or so. I reckon in 10 years time an R Spec with less than 500klm on it has half a chance of appreciating. Ours I think may simply hold their value better than the non R Spec BFs.

The black one, No 279 from memory, that my producer in Qld got already looks like a farm hack. Some people have no respect or appreciation for fine automobiles, he unfortunately is one of them. Imagine an R Spec with 2500klm on it, 3 scraped rims and not washed or vacuumed for 2 1/2 months. I feel like slapping him. Still he hammered 013 the BA Phoon for 87,000 klm and it survived him ell mechanically, which believe me says a lot for the reliabilty of the these cars.
