Can any of you give me any information on reputable edit tuners in brisbane??

I plan to drive down in mid June and get a custom edit.

I also have sitting in a box at home new intercooler, 42Lb injectors, springs & high flow cat, 2nd CAI.

I am currently running the CAPA 10psi edit generic tune..

Can anyone also reccomed when to fit what parts and should it be done in any order. I hope to fit them all and then drive 1000km to brissy to get a custom tune..

Apprecitate any input thanks......

The long answer version:

My suggestion - if you are not mechanically minded - get a price from a tuner - and let them do the lot.

If you are reasonably competent with your own work:

1. You can fit the second CAI now (see instructions on the forum)

2. You can make sure that the cat bolts up, and is all ready for change over - but then take it off, install the old one for the drive. Then change it yourself at the location. (take a jack, jack stands and necessary tools).

3. The injectors - you should be able to fit at the tuning location.

4. The springs - you should probably pay someone to fit them at the tuning shop - or if you have the specail tools and the knowhow - do it yourself now. Alternatively - you could pay someone locally (eg Ford) to fit in advance of the tune.

5. The Intercooler - will depend on what it is (size brand etc) - if it needs cutting etc for fitment- maybe you should get it all fit on - then drive slowly to the tuner?, if bolt on - put it on now. Take it easy on the drive there, no maximum boost running. Ideally - you would fit this at the time of the tune - but may take too long / be costly to have installed.

Other comment - is your car manual or auto - may require auto beef up - or new clutch?
