hey,

Ive just signed up today

guys my name is karen and ive had my mk1 xr6t for quite a while now and I want some more power from it.

It really goes well as yous all know but my sons own vl turbos and id love to give em a good go at lights one day hahaha.

they keep saying to me its coz you aint got enough boost my sons cars both run alot higher boost then what ive got.

One with 14psi and the other running the same size turbo and he is on 20psi.

If its all about boost what is the easiest way of raising it a little coz I tried with cheap boost controller and the car actually seemed to lose power and surge quite a bit.

Any help on this would be great

Welcome Karen. As the boys have said,go with the EDIT and custom tune it.

Gone r the day of manual under bonnet bleed valves. These motors are alot more advanced than the VL turbo. :crybaby:

Just look for a tuner near you.

yep... what the other guys have said... go the edit (otherwise known as the flash box)it will cost you $950 to buy it... then get a custom tune(around $400)... with this alonne you should be able to get about 240-250 rwkw :pinch:

If that's not enough then get bigger injectors, remove centre muffler, add 2nd cai and you should be good for 300 rwkw :msm:

12 second VL's aren't that difficult to come across.

Finding one that can do it and still be anywhere near as comfortable, all-round capable, subtle, and classy as an XR6T or FPV, however...

Let alone avoiding unwanted attention from the constabulary... :P

Karen, welcome to the forum!

Edit will do you wonders. :crybaby:
