a friend [bike junkey] reckons a Quoting him "a hayabusa with a stock restrictor goes about 300kmh, if you take it out it reaches 350kmh. THen he sed something about a guy supercharging his hayabusa and went up to about 450 kmh

that's sounds like a load of bull :w00t2:

I have a video of a turbo Hayabusa that does about 240mph counting off the tacho (as it stops at 220mph) so about 385km/h... Also that's top whack! 11,000 rpm in 6th... so your friends 450km/h is :pooh:

Agreed that speed is most likely :pooh:

But remember it is very easy to change sprockets on a bike, so that tacho

isn't necessarily an indication of top speed. :ermm:

When I was a ladd in the 70s,had a Honda 750 4,you knew you were doing a 100 mph on that thing,the fcuken speed wobbles the thing would get :pooh:

Jeeezz they were bad bikes back then,at least the sound with the baffels out made up for it :lol:

my old man still has one of them... but isnt in a rideable condition...
