I believe it has a GT40 front with a small rear housing on it, I.e.GT35 (I heard the a/r on the exhaust side is .86).

Raotaries have no torque.... so you need to rev the hell outer them, it prolly did 550rwhp @ 14,000rpm lol

You have to be pretty naive if you believe that...the race rotary that I am involved with makes 651.1 rwhp at around 7000-7500 rpm, with peak revs of 9500. The thing has bucket loads of torque..

I was told that the Stock XR6 Turbo is a GT 35/40

That's what the Ford tech manuals say. :kissmy:

240kw = ~320hp

Who the hell needs 500+hp! :kissmy:

I think quite a few people on this site would love 500+HP

The Phase III APS delivers more than that. :beeer:

Friend of mine drive a series 2 rx7 dynoed at 550rwhp, it is an absolute b**ch to drive day to day, and he gets about 200km out of 40 litres.

There are few T s with 330+rwkws not sure what it is in hp (440?) and they are totally street drivable and mine uses less fuel now than when it was standard. Things have come a long way.

Cheers

There are a few cars that are getting 330+rwkw. With an average loss of about

60-70kw through the driveline that means about 400fwkw=~536HP.

This sort of power is coming from kits in stage III form and there is still stage IV to come which I'm pretty sure doesn't involve changing the turbo.

Don't know about you, but the flow rate of 600HP sounds pretty realistic to me, just look at C&V's car!!

I thought we were using a Garrett GT3540 (ball bearing) , and that the turbine housing is a fairy large 1.06a/r, which is the main reason it's rated to 650HP.

Off hand I don't know about the rest of the specs.... although I think the compressor side is not very big.
