  1. Yeah mate there instructions are sh*thouse to say the least!!!! And customer support, what’s that!!! U gotta have invoice and Id to read out to them everytime u ask a question. Even using there app on Facebook to write to them, u have to screenshot all this bullsh*t before they answer anything!!! Anyway rant over😂 yeah mate to answer your question, when I installed it originally I didn’t have the correct cables to hook up my factory reverse camera, so I put it in without. But have had the cables for a while now and just thought bugger it I’ll get it done as it is handy to have on the big barge. But it’s turned into a sh*t fight. Just reinstalled it today without the bloody camera hooked up again. I’ll never buy off kayhan again though!!!
  2. Yeah my factory one slides in and out no worries, but the pictures clip is the kayhan units main plug that replaces the factory one and she is def not just gonna pull out. Been at it that hard that the bloody firewall is nearly coming with it😂
  3. No it’s this one behind the icc down the bottom mate. It’s got clips and tabs all around it but none of them seem to free it up. Got me stumped???

    Help!!!😂

    Gday fellas quick question as I have a problem and need to sort it ASAP. So have a 2010 G6E turbo and have the 8 inch kayhan units in it. Currently need to get the unit out, which is fairly straight forward......BUT, how do u get the main wiring harness off? Have tried pulling, pushing, wiggling, nothing bloody works. In me shed now and need this bastard out!!! So it’s the big white rectangle main harness clip. With factory unit they just slide out, but this aftermarket wiring unit is frigging stuck in good. Am I missing some hidden clips or something? Tried kayhan themselves for advice, but they will not help you with anything unless u can quote them your invoice number immediately, which I don’t have on me. Cheers for any help fellas, and I hope it’s just a quick and easy solution and I’ve completely missed it👍👍

    Yeah mate she rarely gets flogged. Gets babied more then anything and maybe once or twice a year when me and a few mates have a big catchup, I’ll give it a real good go then. Um to answer your other question mate, first round of mods 1000xspurts got put in and walbro pump, cant remember size maybe 460 rings a bell. Got it done that long ago I cant remember. I remember it was e85 compatible, but I havnt had a tune for 85 as of yet. Would like to keep on 98 if possible and stay north of 400rwkw. Also since first round of mods, ive also had full superpro bushes from front to back of car done. New whiteline sway bars and bilstein shoks all round. Standard ride height and rims kept though, as want it looking stock as a rock. After all that work completed it def made it feel more like its driving on rails and go kart feeling into corners. Def got rid of the floating and swaying feeling.

    okay mate, well my posts from nearly 2 years ago have the list of my first round of mods and now she’s going in a few weeks to get round 2. Been talking back and forth with tuner and the list presently involves, gtx3582 garrett turbo Arp head studs valve springs oil pump gears Zf cooler Wastegate mod Act/rod bracket and full custom exhaust from an exhaust shop. 4inch dump to 3 1/2 inch the rest of the way. and obviously the re tune. car goes in 2 weeks to get the exhaust done, then 2 days later will be going to get mods done. forgot I also bought a makliec battery relo kit, so I’ll get them to throw that in while its there too. Cant bloody wait for it to be done hey. Then I’ve gotta work out what should I get done to the driveline to cope with the extra power a bit better. Any advice/pointers are much appreciated. Mainly do motorcycles, so this is my first build on a car. Have read plenty on this forum and theres so many ways to skin a cat, so just taking bits and pieces from everything I’ve read, along with tuners advice.

  8. Hey mate just getting back to you in regards to your spoiler. Took my car to panel shop today and it turns out that mine had sikaflex added at a later date, not like that from factory. The panelbeater has done a few and he rekons just spray under and around your spoiler where u can see the double sided adhesive, with an orange agent type of gunk and adhesive remover, let it sit 15 mins, then should come right off with the fishing line under it trick. He said mine was probably coming loose like yours is and someone glued it back on. So definately only double sided tape used from ford factory mate. He recommended taking it off using above steps and re tape it all again using 3m automotive double sided tape. Thought I better let u no mate, as my last post to you would of probably put u off the thought of doing it. Good luck!!
  9. Cheers keith. I might just have to get a standard fg one, or xr6 if I really have to. Mastars, yeah mate DO NOT try and take it off. Double sided tape around all edges and sh*tloads of black sikaflex all inside the tape. I noticed a bit of my paint had a crack in it coming out from under the spoiler. So before it got any worse I thought id remove spoiler and get paintwork fixed and just reaffix the spoiler. No such bloody luck hey!!! When u try and remove spoiler, the silicone holds on that good, that it peels your paint away with it!!! So trying to get another, as cheaper then trying to repair damage but nowhere in brisbane has got anything apparently. 3 panelbeaters all rekon 7 to 8 hundred to fix. I <3 Bananas that. Just gonna wait and hope suttin comes up. Mastars I would just get something thin and flat to slide in on each end and push the tape outta way and then squirt some silicone in on each end. Def reccomend not removing it mate
  10. Gday fellas, just a quick question for someone who might know. My 2010 g6e turbo had a moisture buildup under the factory bobtail spoiler, so removed it, with great difficulty,(bloody sikaflex!!) and anyway im now up for a new bootlid. In brissy and have rang everywhere up here and cant get a lightning strike colour one anywhere. Will all fg bootlids fit my g6e? Cheers and can someone please let me know, I cannot find any info anywhere and wreckers dunno what will fit either.
  11. Hey fellas, quick update. Picked up car on saturday from the tuner, and its fu#kn awesome!!!! Drives like a big luxury jet now. So much more power and torque. Achieved 311rwkw. So when I finally work out how to do these bloody pics, ill post up the dyno sheet and a video if I can. Have tried imgur and flikr and similar sites, but bloody hopeless at tech sh*t and cant work it out.
  12. Cool. Sounds like the go puff. The way u just put it, makes sense. Didnt know id be paying twice on the tune either. shoulda realised that!!! So when its time to do the 85 tune, do I fill with it and take in to tuna, or do u run tank nearly empty and they add some before tune?
