Thx guys, hopefully it’s just the new tyres that’s causing it and maybe over time the computer will adjust itself. It seems like the dash problem is a common thing and there’s not much I can do about it

Hi guys. my fg xr6t is doing a few weird things. on a hot day I can’t read the lcd dash in the middle of the dashboard until about 15 minutes of driving with the air con on when it cools down ? The traction control yellow lines on the dash sometimes flash when I’m going around a corner at maybe over 60 kph. when this happens I feel a vibration that seems to be coming from the front wheels. I am not on the gas at the time, maybe light braking. The car is throwing no codes. also since running 15psi whenever I floor it the rear wheels seem to leave these thick black lines on the road ?. thank u for your help

Spoke to jez. Hoping to get in next week for a tune. Installed alloy piping today. Bit of a jigsaw but got it done. I think it's going better already.

I'm in gosford but Sydney is ok to get it tuned. Are u talking about croydon racing dev ? They quoted me $1650 with sct4. I got quoted $1100 to have the computed re flashed by BTA in Campsie. Is anyone familiar with their work ? Or have any other suggested tuners in Sydney? Tx
  6. How can a high flow cat install really endanger the engine? The turbo has boost control to avoid overboosting. How does it differ from putting a muffler delete pipe in which allows less exhaust restriction .

Hi peeps. bought myself a 09 fg xr6t on Thursday night for $9k. I was impressed by the test drive and the power it had. Talk about a burnout machine. I've come off a 10 wrx sti , so I'm used to mega grip. Its a lovely car with 144000 Klms on it. At least it was until I drove into a I <3 Bananasing hail storm an hour after I bought it. Now it's got about 30 dings in it. Fml. lucky I insured it before I drove off after buying it. Got plans to get it to 300rw kws. I'm not going to spend too much on it as if I want to go real fast I take my s1000rr for a burn. Look forward to hanging out in here
