I've recently bought an 03 BA XR6T with around 129,500kms. It has very bad steering shudder at low speeds. Like driveways, parking, u-turns and such. The power steering pump looks new like its been replaced before. The fluid was average though. Have changed that a few times to try and clean it out but still no luck. Rack maybe? Thanks for the replies. I live in the south eastern suburbs in ferntree gully. Only mod so far is turbosmart kompact plumback bov. From what I've read valvesprings is a must, should I do this first then followed by a highflow cat? What brands can you reccomend on the springs and cat? Sorry I'm a complete noob to these cars haha. Hey all, im new to these forums. Just bought a 03 BA XR6Turbo with 129,000kms. Who are the best tuners in melbourne. A friend of mine reccomended me to Springy Motors as they did all of his work to his Subaru with great results. Anyone had experience with them tuning there XR6? Also should I tune with HP Tuners or Xcal? Car is stock standard at the moment. Eventually want 300rwkws but aiming for 240-260rwkw to start with. Hi all. Recently bought a 2003 BA XR6 Turbo 4spd Auto. It has only done 128,000kms and is gunmetal grey. It has a few nicks and scratches here and there on the body and the roof lining inside is starting to come off in one spot but apart from that it is in pretty good condition for a 12 year old car. I'm planning on keeping this car for a long time as I've always wanted one. I'm chasing around 260rwkws for the moment and but would eventually like to break 300rwkw. Any advice is welcome. Cheers
