    Boost

that's not good. Must tune. lol
  2. Considering turbo play I will stick to the 200 cell and if funds available a tune to suit. Taking it to mechanic next week for service and check up a few things, not sure its the cat but hard to tell, hearing a whining sound when cold and if I boot it whining turns to whooshing horribly until warmed up.

    Boost

Quick question, my boost gauge is reading 5-6psi at full pressure but when let off it jumps to 9-10psi , is this normal? Also if I change stock cat to a 200cell what would the psi read roughly or too hard to tell. Cheers guys.
  5. Cheers, see how goes...

  8. I posted a reply to this subject in a previous thread but have had no reply so here's my issue if anyone can kindly help. Need to change catalytic on stock twin, sounding sh*t-house when cold. Is it a must to have it tuned if changing it? An exhaust guy in rowville thinks hes had no issues changing the cat on other ba turbs but I beg to differ. Changing from a 400c (factory) to 200c would make some difference I would think but how much? Can't have it boosting over 10psi yet, turbo has play. Excuse any ignorance, dont know sh*t about mechanics.
  9. Bit off subject but I have a ba turbo as well and need cat replaced on stock system (sounding like a failing jet engine when cold) I dont want to put on a high flow cat yet and/or replace exhaust system as turbo has little bit of play and not enough funds for everything as yet.... what sort of cat would be suitable ? 200c too much flow?
