Just picked up G6ET this morning from Torque performance here I Auckland. Was told over the phone he had just over 360kw at 14lb and to head in. Got In there and he squeezed it to 380kw. He said its pretty wild and That xr6T diff should be on the cards. I'm absolutely stoked with results and its definitely a fun drive now. Will post dyno sheet up once its emailed through, One question I have is, I will get trans service and pwr exchanger fitted next week, does it need to go back for another tune? Details of mods under MODS TO POWER COMPARISON topic.

  5. Just delivered my G6ET to the tuner today to have new turbo fitted up and other bits added, I fitted a PW stepped cooler and had cat removed (kiwi) a couple of weeks ago so I've been babying it around since then, I'm looking forward to getting this back and are not 100% sure what figures it will make. Would 360-375rwkw be a stretch for mods done? I welcome any predictions. Will be run on E10 as E85 is still not an easy find. 6. Cheers mate, got one on the way from these guys, price has gone up but sh*te happens. Hopefully here next week and I'll get to work chucking it together. Got PW stage 1 cooler in and the cat chopped out this arvo so off to a good start. Thanks again, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I have a new GTX3576R waiting to be mounted up and I was going to swap factory housing from factory turbo over and get flapper mod done and then mount up. Makes more sense to buy new housing, get turbo mods done and install everything at the same time. Can anyone please tell me best place to buy housing and flapper? I'm in NZ but are happy to freight it over or even make trip over the ditch to bring em in. Thanks guys.

    Gtx3576R.

I just picked one up from a company In Melbourne for $1595 which is a sh*teload cheaper Than here in NZ and although they do pop up cheaper at times this is their std price.

    Gtx3576R.

    Port and flapper mod mate?

    Gtx3576R.

Yeah I'm surprised too, mine isn't and won't be tuned with std turbo as I'm going from stock std to tune with all my mods on. Hopefully get some great gains from std.

    Gtx3576R.

I've just bought a 76r and will fit std housing on but wanted to know your thoughts on port and flapper mods being the baby GTX? Because I'm fitting the GTX76r and 12lb actuator would you recommend a larger flapper as well as a port job or is just a larger port job sufficient?? Running modded stock airbox and std exhaust with cat Gooooooone (thanks NZ transport) Cheers y'all,
  13. Well got all my goodies back to NZ safe and sound and will start assembly shortly, I'm going to fit everything up other than the ID1000's as I've read that it won't even start if I put em in. I'll then get the cat chopped out and head to the tuners. Because I'm fitting the GTX76r and 12lb actuator would you recommend a larger flapper as well as a port job or is just a larger port job sufficient?? I'll chuck the same question up in the turbo section too. Cheers,
  14. Yeah mate, added that to the shopping list for OZ visit, I changed my mind about 20 x in a couple of days regarding the turbo to go for. Parts supplier in OZ said the 82R and that it is the most popular and with the most potential over the 76R but finally decided on the smaller. I'll be going from stock with no tune to tuned 76R with these other pieces so should feel a heap different. - PW stage 1 cooler (no cutting was deciding factor, want to keep dead stock look) - GTX3576R (beast down low) - port and flapper mod - turbosmart 12" actuator - ID1000 - Hi flow fuel pump module - PWR trans cooler bolt in replacement for stock. Just got to come up with explanation for the missus why there are all these feckin car parts in our hotel room when we get to Melbourne. Oh well, she'll get over it. Cheers
  15. 350-370 is a target, I'm going to add a turbo along with some crow valve springs to the shopping list in the morning and I'm swaying towards a gtx3576 over the gtx3582, I've gone thru a a ton of posts on the pros and cons of both and the addiction of wanting more and more may win out in the end but if I can get to 350ish rwkw I'll be happy for now I guess, can always bolt up the bigger brother at a latter date.I just want a daily that's not goin to blow bits to smitherines but still be a rocket round town. Who knows, might have an almost new 35/76r for sale soon ;-)
