  1. Was too lazy to do a workout yesterday, so I'm doing yesterday's and today's workout in one session.
  2. Woohoo it's Tuesday It depends but I'd say Mawson Lakes for less boganism.
  3. I compared the 1080ti at 4k max settings and got around 80fps average.
  4. Av a look ere den. I think the 3080 will be plenty of an upgrade for this old man.
  5. Well I must have switched it off and on enough times cos now the intermernet is working as it should.
  6. The session today was more about learning to operate the dyno, as well as use the data from the laptop in conjunction with the dyno data to make informed decisions. Fortunately I have a vehicle, the Territory, that I can tune and play around with. As far as the exhaust is concerned, I'm ok with where it is for now and when I get the urge for more power I will upgrade the exhaust...or fit the 7675 cough cough
  7. Yerp definitely a win and more valuable than just dropping the exhaust to get a higher number. I'm only going to drop the exhaust for sh*ts and giggles, cos at the end of the day it'll be bolted right back up again when I have to drive home.
  8. Well there was no exhaust dropping today. Instead I spent the entire day on the dyno, steady state tuning. I basically dialled in the timing under 3000rpm and made some surprising gains. I did a bunch of power runs as well to smooth out the timing curve and overall the car didn't make any more power, but I got it to a better state of tune. It did make a couple of kw more on a couple of runs, but that's nothing really. I learnt a bunch about the dyno and overall just gained a bit more experience. I suppose next time I'll do the cam timing and see if I can smooth it out in the midrange. Heh who knows, I might end up doing something else. Happy days
  9. Well you weren't really wrong. There will be no founders edition cards released in Australia. That means that we only get AIB cards which will range from $100 more, to $1000+ more for the full on ball tearers.
  10. What will k31th fix first...the forum or his blue car
  11. Fair enough, I'm just being a cranky bastard I tried a whole bunch of stuff. I only remember you saying to google it pretty much. Looks like a new router is needed though. Farken bastard thing can get punted into the sun at the nearest convenience.
  12. Trust me there is no haha about it. Rab has helped me out though and it might be sorted. Ironically this is the only website out of dozens that is giving me this issue.
  13. Dyno again tomorrow. There will be exhaust dropping this time and I'll do some steady state tuning myself for dyno practice as well as better off boost power for the car. Here's to driving home tomorrow afternoon in one piece lol.
  14. Well after frigging around like a farken circus turkey I'm gonna post some stuff and see if the freaking forum will stay connected for more than a post or two. Heh that post worked 🦃
  15. Make sure you have new plugs in it. There is every chance that it will start to misfire on old plugs once it gets turned up. These are pre-gapped to 0.7mm which is about where you want it.
  16. I tried to post this earlier but the forum is still dropping out for me. The best route will be to get the 255 intank for now, then later you can upgrade with a surge tank and fpr, if you get to the point of making a lot more power. Get rid of the idea that you're going to use a 460 on a stock reg. A drop in reg is all of $300 and is needed for the fuel system to work properly. Just because you can get away with it for a while doesn't mean you should. If you insist on a 460 intank then you need a reg too. Be prepared to spend some money though, there is nothing cheap about building a properly done, reliable, high hp falcon. Also don't get caught up on numbers, 350rwkw is fast as hell on the street, never-mind going 400+. Anyhow there's my 2 cents.
  17. Yerp. Now that I've got it here I'll have to plan some fitting stuff.
  18. Stock ba/bf comp size, gt35 comp size (opened up for gtx35 wheel) and whatever size the aeroflow unit is, gtx42. Tim tam for scale
  19. Met up with @JETURBO this morning to pick up a turbo. For a bloke who was just about to start work he sure was cheerful Thanks again mate and hopefully catch up next weekend. Will post pics in a little while.
  20. Nothing wrong with camping in the back yard, we've done it
  21. Yerp did the sets and reps so that's all I needed to do. Back at it again tomorrow.
  22. BACK IN THE SHED‼️‼️
