  1. Good info , Wish I had found this the other week when looking. 2008 G6E with the same left indicators staying on issue. Ford dealer diagnosed and replaced the stalk assembly. The vehicle was picked up and the 5min drive home was fine and parked for the night. Next morning start up same issue with left indicator , Left the car for the day and started it the following day and everything was fine again. Dash cluster might be next on the list as it did blank out and not function for a day a fortnight earlier.
  2. No you wont need any wastegate porting for that. But if you modify the exhaust with a hi flow cat and dump pipe system you will then.

  6. Was good to meet you at the drags the other day Mick. Keep at it and get that tune sorted sooner rather than later. Will be good to see you run into the low sevens or better.
  7. Check your intake manifold gasket for leaks. Read a few more threads in this section regarding missing or no injector pulse. Fg ecu will drop injector pulse on some cyls if it picks up specific coil misfire events.

    Even though alot of aftermarket pumps run more line pressure then a std one this is not why it happened. This was just a bad instalation.

    Lol, I wish I had that stockpile of spares and had to make those hard decisions. Good to see the build is still going on. The end result is going to be fantastic to see.
  13. .7 plug gap but you are going to hit more problems with overboost with that exhaust. Ported turbo and retune will be needed. If it killed the cat there is a problem with the tune anyway or either it had a previous missfire for quite a while before being fixed.

  15. Welcome back, You may as well do the head studs and new valve stem seals and your done.
  16. The Repco packaged unijoint for the falcon is actually supplied by Hardy spicer for them at the moment. Next month or year it may be procured from elswhere.
  17. When you say you replaced the fuel sender are you talking about the pump module or the actual sender unit ? Many people have confused these two items.

  19. There must be some difference. I am pretty sure the bf will flash alot quicker than the ba ones iirc.

  21. Hi molch, sorry for the late reply but I have not been on the forum much lately. Ended up porting the housing and mainly in the area leading up to the port itself and blending the entry.At the end of the day it was much better but still not how I would of liked. The turbo itself performed very well but was a pain initially to set up. If I had to do it all again I would just go the garret gtx or std turbo with a billet wheel.

    Nice job as usual Tony. How does it drive with that setup to other setups and turbos that you have run previously?
