  1. What size and offset are those wheels mate ? They look great
  2. You need to pick up an rpm signal, Google "MSD pn8913 distributorless tach driver" you need one of these
  3. I got the car with the zf alread built so I rang rob from mt in about feb of this year and yeah he said transmax z with a genuine filter is what he recommends
  4. Only $26 for a bottle of transmax ! That's cheap as ! When does the 30% off finish ? I have a zf built by Monsta torque and that's the oil they recommend, might have to go stock up
  5. Do you still have this setup for sale mate ? Pm if so please !
  6. Haha totally forgot about this thread, so basically the end result to all of this was that the police held the car until October of 2014 and it was then released to the insurance company and I was basically told bad luck and any money I had spent on the car was null and void. The only option I would have is to sue the person who re-birthed it. I managed to get a hold of the insurance company that the car was going to get auctioned off with and we eventually negotiated a buy back price of another 12k. That would get the car back with a clear title. They had me by the nuts. I either cut my losses and throw away over 20k or spend another 12k and I have a car that at the time was worth close to 30k anyway. So I bought it...for the second time lol. Anyway in the end I got the car back and it's all good now. Im not to worried that I spent a bit more than I wanted to on it because I love the car and don't plan on ever selling it. Ended up going to court and the guy who did it got away with it Scott free because the police royally f*cked the case up. As I said a lot earlier, if it's to good to be true it is. And if you smell bullsh*t...run.
  7. Happy Birthday Vallidium!

  8. I just purchased the fuel pump and bf fitting kit which was $235 posted, And I'll install it myself, at nearly half the price I couldn't really justify the complete drop in unit....I do have a surge tank though up front so it wouldn't really matter in my application
  9. Hi all, had a quick look but couldn't find what I was after, has anyone done a tutorial or one of the awesome photo essay threads like Phil does on the removal and replacement of the zf gearbox ? I want to have a go myself but obviously this would make life a lot easier for me especially as I'll be doing it without a hoist ! Any help/advice is appreciated !
  10. Hi all, I'm in desperate need of getting my diff bushes replaced and the control arm blade bushes, so I'm going to drop the cradle myself and while I'm there I figure it's a good idea to do them all so hopefully I won't have to do it again for a very long time ! I've had a look around the the best kit I could find is on eBay for $860 delivered. It has everything minus the bump stops and spring seat insulators. Does $860 sound like a good price or does anyone know of somewhere that can do a better price ? Also any feedback/advice is welcomed ! I'll attach a pic of the kit I'm talking about. I decided to go with the comforts because I don't plan on big power, all the car will get once the bushes are sorted is full exhaust, injectors and a tune, I don't plan on doing anymore than that so for my requirements I figure comforts should be fine..
  11. Just did a forum search on "polyelast" and found the thread you mentioned, think I'll go with comforts after what I read on there, if I was chasing big power I reckon the polyelast would be perfect but not for my application !
  12. for the superpro kit which includes the large centre bush and the 2 smaller outer ones it's $199 for the comforts and $399 for the polyelast ones so double, I really don't mind paying it though if they are as good as people say...I'm not running massive power and don't plan on it in the future so I'm not that keen on the heavy duty or solid version
