  1. Thanks for the advise on the manual, prefer the auto any how. What is the weak point about the manual? $8,000 for a BF ute with leather, if I could find something that cheap, I'd buy it!
  2. Cheers for the help guys! Should hopefully check out 1 or 2 of them on the weekend.
  3. Gday guys, new to the forum. Im looking at purchasing a xr6 or xr6 turbo ute. Have a few cars in mind, budget ranges from $8,000 - $11,000. BA seems to fit that budget resonably well, and was after some advice on common problems, things to look for, things to avoid, common faults etc. Car wont be getting many mods, and will be used for daily transport, and small amounts of towing. (Motos and 6x4 box trailer). Dont know huge amounts about the BA apart from gearbox and diff bush issues. I have found 3 utes that seem resonable, all 3 are autos and have from 100,000-120,000km on the clock. What sort of km per tank should I expect from inner suburban driving, (being sensible) Any help muchly appreciated, cheers Goutman. 1. XR6 Turbo 2. XR6 3. XR6

My brother purchased an average km BA ute, and has had a few issues with the gearbox. Having now replaced it with a xr6 box. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
