  1. Hey people After some info and advice.....it appears whatever bolt/fixing attaching the hydraulic engine mount to the engine/engine bracket has sheared off due to recent increase of power/torque. Question is am I able to source a high tensile bolt appropriate for reconnecting the two members or should I just buy a new engine mount and aaaume it comes with appropriate fixings..... it would be easy to get a few different m10 bolts with different threads for a few dollars because the mount itself is fine
  2. Vht nite shade is the product mate.... 10-12$ a can... not all xar shops stock it....just look in spray paint section.....the produxt is excellent is applies easily and leaves an even coat unless your really heavy on the layers
  3. I am not sure bout that massive process up top but I just wet and dry 3000grit the tail lights gebtly to remove gloss then hang from a clothes line and spray 3 coats evenly and im done......had my car for 3 years and have only re applied one coat to brighten up the gloss....
  4. ive been stuffed by the herrod cooler piping on hotside, as said above, wont allow my 4 inch plaz intake - well it does but you cant put the precision cut lid on which kinda defeats the purpose, I have one day to rectify this pipe problem before my tune, should I hit up a alluminium shop for a metre of ally and get them to do a few mandrel bends or what?

Hey Ive just fitted my new PWR stepped intercooler on my FG, Bumper in back on fine looks sweet however the black undertray in having difficulty getting it right. seems to be suffereing from a see-saw like force which I can only put down to the intercooler affecting it, If I fix the undertray at the front of the bumper the back wont pull up and visa versa. question is can I live without this under tray or is it neccessary to prevent road grime and dirt and sh*t being thrown up on moving parts like the steering rack or something..... intercooler is fresh out the box and polished and shmick under tray is an asshole can I take it off?

Just my opinion, looks a lil asian, as in I think they would look better on a silvia, id go black personally as I have black 5 spoke onmy silver ute......actually just leave them ay, white wheels arent seen everyday, theyll grow on u, just might seem weird cuz like I said u dont see many white wheels round
  7. Oh sorry, sydney nsw One more question, as the new parts need to be tuned obviously, is it ok to change from completely stock to fairly modified and drive to the tuner in safety mode/limp mode as the ecu will struggle with new gear or should I get it towed to the shop
  8. Are my parts mismatched? I basically used my mates f6 as a platform to work off, his ute is ridiculous. can someone reccomend a good tuner ? I was going autotech for reputation/recommendation that may be why its hard to get in contact, wats an average xcal3 and tune worth ive not got a solid price yet... kinda allowed around 1500 for a chip and tune package
  9. Also itried num erous times to talk to atuner and confirm parts but never get a to talk to anyone always busy and never get a call back nor email response....

Dont see how any tuner will have a hard time tuning this, standard bolt on upgrades that any shop offers and no it isnt cheaper to get these from a shop parts were 4k the other 2.5k is an allowance for xcal3 and tune and installation of everything... packages with these parts are way more than 6.5k ... its 2679$ for xcal3 tune and injectors at tunehouse
  11. Is this the mod that's like 600 and they do something to your turbo? Im kinda 6.5k deep atm and dont wanna blow out my already blown out budget I do need a recommendation of a fuel pump though final parts again plaz 4 inch hotside race intake and batt relo pwr stepper intercooler id1000 injectors xforce 4inch dump/cat into single 3.5inch catback turbosmart actuator what fuel pump will power this and what kindmof kw and torque should I expect on 98

Hey ive been offered id1000 for $805 delivered and kpm1000 delivered for $669 Ive seen id1000 used by alot of people and even are part of performance shops fixed packages I havent seen much on the kpm1000 but am not ruling them kut as they are quite cheaper. im confident in the id1000 but do not have enough knowledge on kpm1000 to decide..... both are a direct fit
  14. Wont need flapper waste gate mod unless im chasing more power , im just maxing out the stock turbo may do flapper wastegate and valve springs, surge tank next set of mods
  15. Just got a price on ids1000 for $800 delivered id have to check lut which people prefer either ids1000 or kpm1000 and there wpuld have to be a price difference to sway my as all I read about is the ids1000 being used
