Ok so I've done a ring around. Here are the basics I've been told. Workshop one: au planetary gears (cryogenically frozen) au pump, strengthened drive plate, high energy bands, new valve bodies, Extra clutches. Rated to 350-400 rwkw. $3200 drive in drive out, add $800 for 2800 rpm high stall converter and add $500 for trans cooler set up. Also very helpful bloke on the phone, happy to explain everything in depth. Workshop two: 2500 r hi stall, High energy clutches and bands, Rolarised, furnace braced Torque converter, Deep sump, billot converter, Trans cooler. Rated for 300-350 kw. $3500. $2800 for 260 - 280 kw rated (cooler included) or standard rebuild with no trans cooler $2200 Workshop 3: bloke held back on details, thought I was trying to steal information off him by the sounds of it. Informed him he wouldn't be getting my business for being an outright a***hole on the phone. Rebuild was $2000 plus 500 for hi stall (didn't say what rating) plus 350 for trans cooler installed at front wheel arch. Used custom build, 91LE planetaries. Valve body, servo. Wouldn't say expected output or any other details of the build.
