Hey FiftyOne, did you ever get to the bottom of this? I have a noise that is like a very gentle rattle when accelerating lightly from 2500-3000rpm. only does it when car has been running for short period. when really hot it goes away or when you hold it in that rev range for about 5-10 seconds it suddenly stops.
