  5. Definitely a good deal (if not an ex chaser)
  6. SOLD for the 31k - buyer picked it up today (flew in from Perth and put it on a truck). I think it was a fair price.

How do they go with MTs on the rear wheels?
  8. I don't know why this economic reality then doesn't apply to BA/BA II XR6T's? How are people still selling them in the low to mid 20's when there is supposedly a steady supply of BFII's worth high 20's? I can definitely see a lot against them (one of the reasons I'm selling is I feel like I've been raped every time I pay $1.93 a litre for BP Ultimate), but I don't think its as bad (yet) for good quality BF/BF II T's as its being made out.
  9. In the end I'd let go of my BF2 for 31k (no point advertising it there or I'll get offers for low 20's - you know the deal.) I honestly can't see anything but ex chaser BF2 T's (not phoons - different story - I would actually expect resale on them to be worse because they start off at much higher $$) going in the 20's. When I was shopping for mine I called a lot of dealers from carsales and all the "holy sh*t that's cheap!" ones were all "sorry misttyped price..... but for 10k more can we interest you in...." or scams. Just my personal experience. I have regular experience with chasers where I work most of my hours, and while they are very well maintained I would not buy one for a variety of reasons (one being they are always run off ULP)
  10. Surely the extra goodies you get spending an extra 8K on a BF2 over a BA is worth it? I cant understand spending 23K on a BA when you can spend a bit more and get a car that does not need upgraded valve springs, a new clutch or strengthened tranny and has tougher rods and is less likely to go boom when modified. Also less k's I agree with either waiting or getting the best BF1/2 you can for the best price.
  11. 28K is a good trade for a BF1 with those K's.. that's what Id expect to get for my BFII trade. The only place I've had it advertised on is here until 2 weeks ago. I've only had it advertised on carsales, and in the paper for less than 2 weeks and have plenty of interest (particularly from interstate) now. Not sold until someone ponies up the cash obviously though ... There is a big difference between an ex chaser BF to a BF II with under 20k's on it. As I said, in almost every search on carsales you'll find one or two cars priced well below the rest of the pack and ring to find out that they want a deposit sent to a bank account in Russia or they "mistyped the price".
  12. There are plenty of low km BFII's for sale, but I'm guessing EGOBFXR6 is looking in the mid 20's rather than the low 30's where they are
  13. Redbook is pointless Noone is going to sell you a BF XR6T with 40ks for the prices people are getting for BA II's ($25k), especially with the ZF auto
  14. If its a substantial amount cheaper than the rest of the pack its probably a copy and paste of another ad with a Nigerian scammer on the other end (as SCRIBR said). Happens all the time. I've got my BFII ZF6 with 18K on it and a few options at $33,750negotiable and I thought that was pretty cheap.
