Sound System has been installed and working for a bit over a month now and sounds unreal! Would definatley recommend the Soundstream Tarantulla 5x7s the fit without any spacing or cutting (by no more than 1mm in any direction) and sound better than speaker that cost 4 of 5 times more. They must be powered of an amp though. Couldnt be happier with the sound and I have no amp whine whatsoever, only problem is now all my mates with bas and bfs want me to do the same to theirs, and I really dont enjoy the install (love the final product though).

I have had very simular results with our BFII xr6 turbo, the trip computer is pesimistic, the best I can manage on the computer is about 10.2 outside the city, but work it out the old fashioned way and its usually in the low 8s Interesting to note too that my missus has noted that on the same work comute for 5 days it seems to use within a litre per week of her subaru liberty RX 2.5 auto that we just got rid of, so the XR is cheaper to own and run because it dosent need fixing.....ever, unlike the subaru.

did u push the wires through the original loom conduct?

Hey everyone, wondering if anyone can help me. Im in the process of installing a full custom audio setup with a low mounted single din alpine head unit, 4x soundstream 5x7s an Alpine 12inch sub and 2x clarion amps, one 4 sub one for speakers. Im not tapping into the ICC at all im just trying to install a separate system with new speaker wires strait from the amps, im stuggling to get wires through the A pillars into the front doors, how have you guys got them through?
