  1. I thought the same until I looked through the show us your fg thread and saw everyone is just content with this "not very lowered" look of KFRL-68SSSL's.
  2. Appreciate the advice guys but bags/coilovers are out of the question for various reasons. The N/A XR50 is just a reliable daily to me and I don't want to sink that kind of money into it, but at the same note I don't want to dodgy the sh*t out of it and chop coils. I'm open to the idea of springs from another model falcon but honestly it may sound like I'm trying to slam this thing on it's ass but I'm not... The SSSL's in the rear right now sit almost an inch above the 20" tyre. I just want them to be a little lower.
  3. Yeah but all I've found online from looking at "ultra low" listings is products that have a KFRL-68SSSL code. :(
  4. G'day Guys. I'll cut to the chase. Looking for rear springs to suit FG Sedan that are lower than KFRL-68SSSL. I have kfrl-68sssl's already and it really bothers me sometimes that there is a decent gap between the 20" tyre and the guard. Does anyone know whether there is a KFRL-68SSSSL in existence, or if another manufacturer is making something off the shelf lower than the king spring options? I'm having a hard time finding somewhere in WA that will reset the springs so now I'm looking to a better off the shelf alternative. (not paying for coilovers)
  5. Hi guys, Noticed the other day my master brake cylinder in my FG XR50 (na) has been leaking and has left some nice artwork on my brake booster. I've done a search and found a couple suggestions to get the seals replaced in it, I'm going to give a couple brake places a call on Monday to ask whether this is something they can do. If they say no, then I'm going to shop around for a second hand brake cylinder as I don't feel like paying $300-400 just in parts for a new one. My questions are, A) Have you or anyone you know had any luck getting the seals in a leaking master cylinder replaced? Was it expensive? Did they hold? B) Does anyone have any experience regarding what model numbers of brake boosters are interchangable on BF-FG? I have the model B227-129 on mine, however the only second hand ones I can find on eBay have the numbers B227-121 and B227-130? Will this mean they won't fit?

  10. Whats the liklihood of overboosting here?? Wouldnt mind running a dose pipe but see a lot of people saying overboosting is a problem.
  11. Im also wondering the same.......... heard a few stories of early fg autos busting tailshafts as soon as you put it down too much but havnt got anything set in stone.. would like to see someone with a fg auto whos just slammed it and can say "nope mines fine" then that will be good enough for me to dump mine another 1-2 inches lol
  12. This is what we've been chasing examples of for a while!! I would really like to hear people with FG Auto Utes that have lowered it past a reasonable amount (tucking tyre, even if its just a bit) and how their tailshaft is holding up.... Do you have a pic mate?
  13. Out of curiousity mate - auto or manual? tell me if you have any problems with tailshaft. Cheers
  14. I'm running standard boost with exhaust only mod. Blocking the BOV is still worthwhile, it adds a bit of fun to driving and may relieve a little bit of that "Wish I bought a v8, cause this thing sounds like a fart" that I'm sure we all get from time to time. You'll definitely hear it in the cabin and even more out of it.
  15. I posted a pic of exactly what you're looking for on the "Bovs on Autos" thread. It sounds mint
