Sorry for the late reply. Mine leaked where the intake manifold bolts to the motor coz the gasket was stuffed. U can check for leaks by VERY CAREFULLY spraying some throttle body cleaner or wd40 around the manifold, if there's a leak there will be a slight drop in revs. I'm no mechanic so there might be a safer way of checking for leaks. Maybe the manifold bolts need to be re tourqed. Good luck keep us posted

I had a similar problem, would idle at around 1600 rpm then drop to normal when car fully stopped. Also had a rough idle on cold starts. Turned out to be a leaking intake manifold gasket. I Replaced it then found a new tuner as mine left the shop like that! Thanks to c&v...

I had my ba ute tuned at cv around 2yrs ago. first time it came out running 308kw @ 19psi and had a bad idle. took the car back and they lowered the boost to 15psi which raised the power to 325kw and said there's a problem with plugs or coils. Had a look myself turned out to be a huge air leak on the intake manifold. Got a new tuner now

dam it! my tuner is 3 hrs away and I cant get time off work. might just go buy a TPS form ford, they want $198 though. I was gona try one any way. ill let ya all know how it goes. thanks guys

no codes are showing up, I also reloaded my tune and it didnt change a thing. if it is TPS would it show codes?

hey guys I am proud owner of an 04 ba xr6t ute for around 2 years now and just recently the car has developed a weird idle problem. when I push the clutch in it idles at around 1400 rpm until you full stop rolling then drops back to normal (800rpm) and also has slight popping sound on normal idle. car starts and runs fine when cold, its when it warms up the high idle starts. car has been tuned for a year now with sct flash tuner, bigger injectors, valve springs, full xforce exhaust, hdi gt2 intercooler, fpv intake, 13 psi, 295 rwkw and loving it I've tried cleaning throttle body and checked the gasket is'nt leaking, checked for vac leaks, disconnect battery for 30 mins, cranking the car over for 10 secs with pedal flat, had no luck. this site is great and has allways helped me out but im stumped on this one. any help would be great! thanks guys keep up the good work
