  3. Anyone know where to buy paint to touch up the Red valve cover, does it need to be heat proof etc. Paint code? Sorry if this has been covered somewhere else but I couldn't find anything.

  7. Just looking at some vertini Drift 20's 8.5 front and 10 on the rear. Car is stock. they wanna fit 245/35 on the front and 275/30 on the rear. wots the go with offset with these coz I have absolutely no f*ckin idea. Chiz

    Well picked my car up yesterday and its all good. Full respray and all stolen parts replaced with new factory parts so all in all I'm pretty happy considering. New door and ignition barrels and 2 new coded remotes. Was really concerned how I'd feel about it but driving it around yesterday and today I think I'm happy to have it back. Gonna stick on some new rims and probably fit an alarm and tracking system. God I love these cars.
  12. Im looking at putting some new rims on the ute, it came standard with 19" but I'm thinking of going up to 20's. Wot are peoples experience with the 20" ride and handling wise, dont wanna wreck the balance of the car. Also it seems most guys favour 8.5 on the front & 10.0 on the rear any advantages or is it just the look and how does this affect the ride and handling. Cheers guys

    Well after 9 weeks, been in the body shop for 7, it looks like I'm finally gonna get my ute back this Thursday. Time will tell if I'm gonna keep it long term but I'll give it a go. Think the final repair bill was in the region of $15K it was touch and go whether they were gonna write it off, part of me wishes they had. Got a few ideas for future upgrades, firstly a decent alarm with tracking, and some new rims. Later exhaust and maybe the turbo. Be good to get a car back anyway. Had to use the bike all this time.

    Dont wanna say anything about state of the car until the insurance is sorted and its been examined. Funny thing was I's already found an F6 that I really want but financially I'd be better off getting the T back as it was, but this time with a new alarm and tracking. Waiting game starts now, cant see me getting it back till at least next month

    Well cars been recovered although there is some damage on the whole it isnt too bad. In the hands of the insurance now so cant say any more. Spoke to my local ford dealer he wants it in to do a full assessment, on engine driveline etc which I was gonna get done anyway. time will tell if theres a happy ending or not.

    price is gonna be the big decider, can pick up late model GS and F6 for the low to mid$ 30's but GT is a different story so I think there out. Cant believe the GS didn't come with Brembos but was it an option?

    Well a week has passed and still no sign of it being found so it looks like I'm gonna have to start looking for a new ride. Really pissed of,f I spent 6 months searching for that car and have spent the last year getting it just right and spent $$$$ on it but guess it might be time to move on. So I'm thinking about a change after 2 XR6T's. Does anyone know if the new XR8 is coming in a ute? Also thinking F6, GS or GT. I really like the possibilities with the 5.0 coyote motors but the GS is not as well equipped as the F6. The T had a few problem areas such as ZF milkshake, turbo oil lines etc do these still apply to the FPV range. Thanks Guys
