Ford have underated springs, FG 6T ute load can carry 540Kg as said by Ford (sales guy told me 750kg), my dealer has said I have 500Kg load but my guards rub in driveway at 20000 kms and didn't at 10000 kms (no load change), dealer offered 1 ton shocks (how will this affect ride height) but I asked for reset and extra leaf, sorry we have 1 ton shocks in stock and will do that under warranty but not reset and extra leaf spring. Then was told that to measure ride height dealer will take off canopy, empty ute and see unloaded ride height, yes trying to work through problem but it is my work car. Has anyone had this experiance? Is this a bad dealership, or is Ford correct and a ute rated at 540Kg is shagged within 20000kms carring 500Kg (apparently).

Will let you know how JBL MS8 goes in a months time, parents in USA got them to bring one home,arrives Saturday, will also have Pioneer PRS A900,Pioneer GMD 8500,Pioneer 12" shallow mount, front splits and rear 5x7, in FG6T ute, no premium sound. Was going to get rockford fosgate 360.2, but this looks better, the Australian JBL distributors need to get more customer focused and start delivering the goods.

I go in for 3k service next week, my engine ticks, tik tik tik tik tik tik tik. At first thought maybe ute noise but then lifted bonnet tik tik tik tik, I have had turbos before S15 and Liberty GT, but FG XR6 T has tik tik tic tik yic noise Also at 2500 Kms pulled out of SC in front of truck put foot down and car nearly stalled. Car was in auto/performance shouldnt box be set up to avoid this.
