Same motor it was running like a dream, don't know why it skipped a tooth I've never had it bouncing off the limiter, I had a ba turbo for four years and not a drama, that only had 10 psi and a uni chip felt sluggish compared to this one. I'm going to get bearings aswell.

Thanks for the advice gaz, I thought I could get standard size pistons, the stuff you had listed I will get also and flexplate, I was looking at the spool rods and Ross pistons can get them for $1450

Sorry for not being clear, I just wanted some advice about new conrods and pistons, all the other stuff I had listed is all ready on the car, to cut a long story short it suddenly got a rattle and the mechanic wanted $6200 and my motor because he thought it had a broken conrod, I ended up pulling the motor out and found it had jumped a tooth on the timing and the valves hitting the pistons was the rattle, the car is a bf turbo Oct 05 82000km. I thought it might be a good idea to put some better rods and pistons in to handle the rest of the mods, don't know what it's running power wise but I would say a fair bit it's running the 16psi tune, might get new cams aswell. Gday could someone point me in the right direction please 're rods and pistons,it's a bf turbo,60 pound injectors,x4 tuner,4 inch dumpy into high flow cat 3.5 inch system,bigger intercooler, zf 6 speed. Any help would be appreciated cheers
