  1. Happy Birthday Hotwire!

  2. Pricks! Is it going to Crispin? How did you go selling your liberty? Not a lot of interest in ours so far :(
  3. BB XA coupe - who's that? Nick Kollis by chance?
  4. Happy Birthday Hotwire!

  5. Hey John No FG, still repping the GTi for daily duties We do have another Ford though, got a SX Territory Ghia for family carting / wifes daily. Liberty is up for sale soon as a result. Spotted the BA at Marion swim centre Saturday avo, still looks good and made me miss it!
  6. Hi John, Glad to hear you got the business up and running - missed seeing the G6ET at your work for a while now and figured you may have moved on? Hows the BA going also? would love to hear how its going Cheers Lee
  7. I'm glad the car ended up going to someone who can appreciate the effort I put into maintaining it, and not to some young dick who would end up wrapping it round a tree or light pole!
  8. Well, John gave me the opportunity to drive this beast yesterday, and all I can say is wow! The response of the GTX76 is f**king awesome, and John definitely swayed me towards going the G6ET path in the future with the 76, much more responsive than my (old) BA. Talk about luxury express! Cheers! Lee
  9. Nope An air filter (for petrol model) Pollen filter HEGO sensor Fuel filter that sits in main fuel line under chassis
  10. few bits n pieces for some well deserved maintenance:
  11. Fair enough - but you stated above that a clean filter is good for 300rwkw, so does this imply that there aren't any flow differences?
  12. Thanks Ratter, My filter is due for replacement and was wondering if its worth spending $$ on a K&N or similar. At present have SS Widemouth with deflector setup & Heinrich tune. Have on order injectors and will have valve springs installed shortly so at best will be pushing high 200's at a guess (stock exhaust), so would paper filter still be worth while for now rather than K&N?
  13. By clean factory filter, do you mean Ford motorcraft filter or just a paper filter such a ryco etc?
  14. 3" Stainless Exhuast, with modified factory dump pipe. Just requires fitment of cat converter and bolting up.... First quote from AAA Exhuast, $380 for 3" 200cpi cat, $420 to fit exhaust. I left their shop laughing at them. For now I may just get an adaptor made to bolt up to stock cat as I really only wanted it for the increased noise anyway.....
  15. So unless you consistently run the car dry (carry a Jerry) how can you know? Or are you then referring to the estimated distance to empty once filled up?
