yeah I'm on both PS3 (Kismos) and xbox (truckatemybaby). Game is so freakin addictive, it will be interesting to see what the multiplayer will be like in Black Ops.

It's not the fuel I'm looking to save money on, it's the finance repayments. I should save at least $200 - $300 a month on the finance repayments, also in my particular situation I should save quite a bit on fuel coz I don't live too far from work and the T never gets off the warm up cycle. I'm lucky to get 400k out of a tank around town. I'll get back into a T down the track, but at the moment the repayments are killing me. Also looking at doing a bit more camping from now on so a ute will be good. I'll b talking to my bro-in law who owns a cruiser and knows anything that's worth knowing about them. In any case nothing will probably happen until after easter, I'm doing the research at the moment before I make the final decision on what to get. Yeah once I get everything sorted wouldn't mind having a play in the mud and christen the new beast.

well I s'pose Toyota have got to pay for all the recent legal costs and compensation claims coming outta the US atm from the prius recalls. $15k's alright that's around the model I'm looking at but I might get the ute version, but they're pretty hard to find with the TD engine. mind you I've only been looking for the last couple of days.

same kind of thing happened up here last year. Young girl's car broke down and was pulled off to the side of the road, her parents turned up and parked behind her and were collected by an 75 year old driver in a 4wd who obviously wandered out of the lane. The story was in the local paper. Also seen a few videos from the US highway patrol which show that for whatever reason these aren't isolated incidents and happen more often then people might think.

yeah I got pinged for 10 over by a mobile unit, way off to the side of the bruce near caboolture, pr*ck nearly blinded me with the flash as he got me as I was coming towards him. This was at 5 to 12 at night and was bloody dangerous imo, especially considering I happened to be glancing right at it when the flash went off. Ah well of course the government was only saving my life coz I was speeding on a 6 lane major highway at midnight!!

Have 4 stars to go and need some help, haven't played any multiplayer yet. Has anybody else got Operation Flashpoint? I was playing with a couple of mates on the weekend and was having major issues with lag, is that normal or just my connection?

GT5's release has been pushed back again, I haven't been able to find an actual date for it, but at the moment it's still slated to be released this year (hopefully). From what I understand there will be a few australian cars in it, dunno how many or which ones, apparently the developers are being pretty closemouthed about the details. But it is going to be epic.

it varies from bank to bank. I know any cheques that we get for my work clear overnight through the NAB. Whereas I bank with a smallish building society and it generally takes 3 business days to clear. Your best bet is to just ask the CBA.

yeah mate that's pretty much spot on. Nah haven't seen the one down at Warana, but I remember someone else mentioning it in the QLD Spotted thread, apparently it's about 300m north of the 7/11 on the corner of Nicklin way and Acquatic Drive, it catches cars heading north toward noosa.
