hey guys this is my mates car, it got fixed ages back but just thought id update. he picked me up from work when he had this loud noise, he opened the bonnet and the pipe that goes from the airbox to the front of turbo was sitting nice and snug in the engine bay, so the turbo was sucking in air unfiltered. I must say giving it a boot the turbo sounded hot. although not entirely great for the turbo itself sucking in dusty air. from the passenger seat I noticed it had more top end guts but lacked a little toque down low. He took it back to ford and turns out they didnt do a great job reattaching up the pipes. Pays to check your engine each time a service is done just so nothin more serious falls off.
