  1. Already had a look in the ICC.... unless I'm blind and someone can point me to the right setting. The only setting in the ICC is how long a delay for the automatic lights to turn on/off in auto mode.
  2. hey all, Is it me, or does the dash instrument panel lights only turn on automatically when it's dark? It happens no matter whether my lights are on auto or my lights are turned on manually. My headlights turn on when I turn it on manual, but the dash lighting doesn't until the car detects it's dark enough to have the dash on. Is there anyway to have the dash turn on always? I'm finding that when it's dusk there isn't enough light and I need the dash on but the car detects just enough light so it doesn't turn the dash on. Thanks, Koj
  3. Using BP ultimate I think mine's settling in at around 14.5L/100km.
  4. Thanks guys.. fairly similar to mine.. I drove up from Brissy to the Eumundi markets today and managed to drop mine down to 14.2L/100kms from my 18.4L/100km... I made sure I reset my fuel used counter and only did 24L for the 200k return trip.. which is quite good. I think it'll probably settle around the 14-16L mark within the city with stop / starts.
  5. hey all, Now that we've had a few XR6T's rolling out, I'm just wondering how people are finding the fuel consumption? Yes yes, I know it's a turbo and I should be expecting high fuel usage.. I'm just curious and want to compare if my driving habits are top heavy or not as this is my first big car, let alone big car with turbo K's done so far: 300 Fuel ave/100: 18.4L Main type of driving: city, no highways Koj
  6. hahaha.. no modding yet... Though a few things have crossed my mind thus far.. maybe a new exhaust... As for fuel consumption... currently sitting at 18.4L/100
  7. Turbo: haha.. lil jap things.. Mazda 121, Mazda 323 and Mazda 6 My last two were the 323 and the 6 which I traded both in for. 2muchkw: $57k drive away. Probably not the "best" deal.. but I was happy with the trade-ins and the difference.
  8. Hey all, Picked up my new XR6T yesterday. Thought I'd share. Never had a turbo before let alone anything with more than 4 cylinders. I'm LOVING it. Driving it like a prissy mostly as it's larger than all the cars I've had so I'm getting used to the size.. but I give it a bit of stick on the straight once in a blue moon It's XR6T Ego, ZF auto, Luxury pack Thanks, Koj
  9. Looks great!! I can't wait for mine which I pickup next week.. also Ego.. awesome colour
  10. Yeah I think it is.. I probably should've checked sites like this beforehand but too late now :( Live and learn for next time.
  11. Hey all, Sorry for the first noob question, new to the site as I've only bought my first biggish turbo car, always have driven small/medium jap cars. Dealer tells me yesterday that my car's in today and should be ready early next week (then organised the 5th dimension protection pack yesterday as well so probably mid-next week). Are there any particulars I need to specifically look out for? Apart from the usual, dints, scratches.. I know about the speaker issue (advertised as 8 speakers yet only 6 physical). Any other hints / tips? This is what I bought btw: Ford XR6T - Ego ZF6 Auto Luxury Pack Protection pack (leather, paint protection, tinting etc) XR carpets Thanks Koj
