  1. Nice one keif, what made you select that one ?
  2. Look I get it and understand what you’re hopefully trying to achieve and for anyone watching on here it’s simple Get a complete wrecker long engine complete, FG turbo is the best option but Gassy works …. Drop it in if it’s a FG turbo long and with basic bolt ons it holds 500rwkw for a decent amount of time with just valve springs internally fitted. The second you start opening up sumps and removing heads it’s basically no way but the right way to complete the task and that’s a full new build. Wether it be a basic build that will hold 500rwkw or a up spec that can hold 6-7-800rwkw it just needs to be done correctly with new hardware otherwise the “issue” rate with not achieving a target is high and who needs that additional BS with when modifying cars to go fast and some reliability in mind… Don’t mind issues and excess stuffing around in your life then go for a Frankenstein build and see how much you can save… my guess is $0 unless you don’t rate your time as a valve What I will say is when it comes to tow trucks and missed paid events plus others time it stacks up big time so the expensive way is typically the cheapest way when it comes to reliability. Plus who needs all that noise in their life
  3. Who’s the tuner…. Might pay to ask him what he thinks yehhhh ?
  4. I always do it on customer cars when flicking over to E85
  5. Honestly I wouldn’t as each hardline is up close to the chassis rail so a clean cut is difficult, The reg base hardline is semi flared too. Hardline to AN adaptors work well enough for oil lines but high pressure fuel with it’s low viscosity I’m skeptical….
  6. It’s 3/8 Fuel hose … Aeroflow sell 400 series in 1 & 3 MTR lengths in a packet. It’s like $40 for 3 MTR’s
  7. Get your tuner to look at the fuel delivery request at that coolant temp which is common changeover point for a few mapped areas
  8. 129mph + Apply’s everywhere
  9. A walbro 255 Hi psi pump can flow enough fuel to supply 410-430rwkw on 98 fuel with 18-19psi of boost on 0.8 Lambda and still have return flow in the line to the tank with the factory wiring & reg in place A factory FG cat back starts to heavily increase back pressure after 16.5psi of boost which typically relates too 350-370rwkw Do the exhaust….
  10. Yes clean up that Earth contact point and potentially time for a new battery mate despite what it test up as especially if it’s an “Century” battery
  11. If you want I can give you pops & bangs for the full VW Golf experience ! 50’s up there indeed, holla out if you want me to give you something to get it in the right direction hey
  12. Another bloody N.Z tune fail… eurghhh lol Mate, buzz me a P.M and I’ll help you
  13. Happy to help Zane Sucks I couldn’t get it sorted from the ESP to Nexus tune only but glad a few plugs got replaced and now a good set of cams installed Always here if you need mate
  14. No the gas plugs are 0.7mm not 0.8mm you keep talking about… The hint is in the YE07 part number 🤪
  15. The Crap results/files/tunes I’ve seen come out of N.Z workshops in the past x6 weeks suggests there’s very few who know how to tune a turbo falcon at all ! You have boost error issues, thresholds set wrong and Waste gate actuator duty cycles wrong…. End thread
  16. Your tuner doesn’t know what he’s doing, sorry, it is what it is P1277 - Start here in the tune !
  17. Where are you located and who’s tuned it ?
  18. Honestly sounds like you need a Mechanical pump if your pushing x3 525’s to their limits which should put you in over the supply range of over 800rwkw on E85
  19. Be very aware that the factory oil pump can not provide enough oil pressure to keep up with an external style oil cooler so don’t think your helping the situation with cooling oil as your going to be cooling low pressure oil that quickly leads to engine failure FPV got it right with the oil filter sandwich style factory engine oil heat exchangers !!
  20. Geez mate, that’s some bad luck there, when was the last time you had her on the Dyno for a check up ? She’s been tuned for a while now, Still Morpowa’s tune on board ?
  21. Well you can remove the starter motor and physically get your fingers on it and see if it wiggles before removing converter bolts
