  1. oh noes, not more power in the N/A going to be fun when the rods bend
  2. morning all, happy Friday 📗
  3. would that ruin the burble, though... hmmm
  4. I'll take the blame turbo'ing every car that you buy should be mandatory
  5. yeah; not ideal, that's for sure... but better to rehab it properly than trying to train through it.
  6. ahh yes, can't stay away from the falcon platform I know the feeling Good stuff on the house and job front, though!
  7. Life is great well... within reason having fun over there in wawa-land?
  8. morning all, happy Thursday 📖
  9. it's back on the previous page...
  10. yeah; nah. that's not it... 300kw at the rear wheels is basically impossible with the stock injectors in an XR6T; there was probably some dyno fudging happening there; no big deal... also not relevant to this thread as it's about a BA motor and ancillaries combination + minor modifications.
  11. I haven't ever installed an aftermarket one as I don't think they're worth it, so I can't recommend one. I just know the factory one isn't great and wouldn't recommend it for security.
  12. Much better option is to go an aftermarket one as the factory one isn't any good, realistically... but aftermarket have their own problems...
  13. morning all, happy Wednesday 📕
  14. morning all, happy Tuesday 📔
  15. yeah, I'm not saying it's likely to happen, but it might, so budget for it then you won't be (as) disappointed if it happens.
  16. how do you know it has swayed? on the dyno? I think it would be easier to just brace the tray you've got than make another one completely...
  17. Also, you should think about engine failure budget for that happening at 300rwkw+
  18. morning all, happy Monday 🪔
  19. well, I hope you enjoy it as much if not more than the FG, I guess... would you bring it on a snowies cruise?
  20. Gauges are what you need for that... keep an eye on oil pressure and temperature, maybe even gearbox oil temperature instead of engine oil... for the gearbox oil temperature can make a difference, but gearboxes do let you know in other ways if they start letting go.
  21. Just follow the standard servicing procedure... it covers basically all you need for a stock car... if you want to check more stuff, then just check more stuff.
  22. I thought you said you were going lighter? don't think they're much if at all lighter than an FG falcon...
