  1. well so much for flying under the radar.
  2. Tuner sounds like a hack. I mean let’s be honest. Hacks are good for the industry. Keeps the professionals honest and shows the fact that there is actually no magic in tuning. I mean sh*t. I’ve got no tuning experience but I can tune a stereo like f**k

  12. Yes death to turbo if it sucks something through it. That is why I am running filter mesh on the front of my CAI.
  13. I'll probably get it for $250-$300 whats a new one worth with the generic 8&10 psi tunes in it? I am aware that I will probably need a custom tune at 10 psi but I'd be happy running 8 as my car is only running 4psi
  14. Hi guys, Sorry for another post on the same topic, but I have been reading & havent found the answer to my problem. I have a BA MkI XR6t manual, it is standard other than an xforce 3" and a custom CAI which I have done myself, the CAI goes straight over the PWR Steering pump and slips between the battery and headlight sitting about midway behind the head light. no filter just mesh on the front. It has started boost spiking since the I fitted CAI. I fitted a boost gauge a little while ago and it was showing a solid 4 PSI (which I though was low to start with. car is very slow) and maybe 5 PSI on a cold night higher in the rev range. Yesterday I fitted fitted my CAI and still 4psi then driving home from work full noise in 3rd gear at 3500 to 4000rpm it spiked to 8 psi and hit boost cut, same in 4th. it happened a few times till I thought I blew my car up as it started running on 5 cylinder then it came good again. I dont want to blow my car up, so can anyone help.? I thought about putting the intake back to standard but it does go a little better and I'm enjoying the sound. Future mods will be a flash to 8psi possibly 10psi absolute max, then a bigger cooler and retune. In that order. My car has just done 45000km's, could my Actuator be stuffed?? I would apprecaite any help I can get. thanks
