  1. Was looking at 275/35/19 for the rear and was looking at a 245/40/19 for the front to match the diameter of the 275. I don't really want to go to a 295-305 simply because I would need the control arm mod wouldn't I? and a 265 wouldn't match a 275 rear. I agree though, I'm not a fan of the stretch look. I was looking at the 19x9.5 for the front because the wheels I am considering are concave in the 9.5 and flat in the 8.5. So simply considering the 19x9.5 for the concave look. Can you get a 275/35/19 (not 275/30/19) on the front with stock suspension and no rubbing? And if so, what offset? +28?
  2. Ok guys, I'm looking to fit a set of 19x9.5s all round to my FG MkII XR6T. The car is on stock suspension and the guards aren't rolled. I would like to fit 245/40/19 fronts and 275/35/19 rears rather than 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. The wheels I am looking at have customisable offset. So my question is - what offset will I need so there is no rubbing? +30 front and +40 rear? Thanks in advance.
  3. ^^^^^ Running 19x8.5 + 35 on the front and 19x9.5 +42 on the rear.
  4. Is anyone running 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 on FG mkII?
  5. I am not a fan of black wheels either. Gun metal are fine but you can't see the detail with a black wheel. What is the point in spending good money on a wheel and then not being able to see what it looks like? You may as well put a set of chasers on.
  6. Thanks for the replies. I will have to check how much room I have. I am not overly fussed on minor differences in grip as it is my wife's daily so it has plenty of grip 99% of the time. I am more trying to match tyre diameters as it has thrown a DSC fault which I put down to the tyre sizes.
  7. I am trying to match the diameter of my fronts (245/35/19) more closely. I am currently running 275/35/19 Nitto's on the rear. What is it more likely to hit? Inner or outer?
  8. Quick question... 285/30/19 on 19x9.5 +42 on the rear of an FG sedan, yay or nay with no guard/suspension work?
  9. Can you please explain why that would be the case? I assume because the diametre is much smaller than the 275. Edit: Why would you go a 305/25? Is that what people run when they got 305's? Wouldn't 305/30 be better?
  10. Ok guys, I did a quick search but couldn't come up with anything recent so I thought I would ask again.... How much, driveaway, did you pay for your new mkII XR6T? Obviously only post if you are happy for everyone to see it. Please outline any options included in your price. Cheers
  11. I think you will find a set of 8.5" wheels will have the same track as a set of 9.5" wheels if both sets have the same offset as the track is measured from the centre of the rim/tyre. Where the corners of the rims sit is a different matter.
  12. If you aren't worried about the legalities of a spacer then you probably aren't worried about the legalities of increasing the track.
