OK guys, i've started this thread to keep the FPV Launch separate from the general Ford FG Launch weekend.

As always FPV cannot give us firm dates as to when we will see the new cars. We do however have one F6 unit for June build, and we also have two GT's in final assembly as of 28/4/08.

We are aiming to hold the launch night in the second week of June, ~11th.

OK guys, i've just been talking to Stock COntrol and it seems that we have two GT's in Final Assembly, this is the last step before they go to FPV for thier bumpers, wheels, brembo's etc - production is looking good for the V8 product, with a limited supply on the F6 models

early June will be sweet.......party pies + sausage rolls, and some schooners thanks pat.

OK Guys, i am aiming for the launch to be on a friday evening from 5:30pm to approx. 7pm

I will have my first stock GT's by the end of this moonth, and i can secure an F6 sedan and a Super Pursuit from FPV.

The night will be catered (yes party pies Buf-phoon) and I believe it will be a good night for people to get up close and personal with the FG FPV's.

I have posted this original list of people that showed interest in both the regular Ford FG's and the FPV's. If everyone could confirm if they will come, i can organise the catering.

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide test drives on the night due to the F6 and Super Pursuit being Motor Show Cars and our trade plates are restricted to business hour use. (RTA's red tape, not ours!)

OK Guys, after a small scare re this not going ahead(!!!) everything is ok and under way!

This Friday we will have two pre-production vehicles, the F6 Sedan and the Super Pursuit, plus our GT and GT-E Stock Vehicles on Display. We will have catering for everyone along with soft drinks and light beer - i know, i know, full strength is just too tempting!

OK Guys,

I want everyone to be aware that you need to be at our showroom at 5:30PM for a 6PM start. We will have a brief introduction by my Dealer Principal and also our FPV Regional Manager. After that i will be presenting the new FPV's to everyone covering the performance and styling advances from the BF 2.

We will have a give away on the night and of course some finger food and drinks will be laid out.

Just returned from PW FPV launch and I must say the cars attracted plenty of attention from all attendees as did the complimentary food and bevvies.
For mine I particularly liked the Black GTE. Just a shame it isn't available in a T6.

A good night and the forum was well represented.

Pat also did a great job of overviewing the technical developments of the new range, the boss would
have been pleased. well done

great night, and was great to meet a few members of the forum in the process, must say the new f6 has me lovestruck though....

I would like to say a BIG thankyou to all the ForumMembers that turned up tonight! It really did turn out to be a great night and without the participation of you all it would've been a pretty quiet night!

I think everyone can agree the new FPV vehicles are quite a good package, and needless to say i can't wait to get behind the wheel of them again!
