A bunch of us are going out on Sat 28th after the cruise Shanus is organising, so if it suits anybody better than the Wed night meeting you are most welcome to join us. Gates open at 4pm with racing from 4.30pm.

How much would a helmet cost and where abouts could I pick one up?

I think you could pick up a helmet for less that $100 at a motorbike shop.

tim just ran a 11.2 @ 120mph in the ute with a 1.6 60foot

Yep Rapid Chris's ute has run a 11.2@120 MPH with Tim from Elite at the wheel.
Tim has never even driven a car at the drags before and after a few runs managed a 11.2 and an 11.4 pass.

Chris's ute has been at Elite and it now running Elite edit only and intank walbro pump and is much more streetable and even faster down the quarter mile. While producing a modest 303.8 RWKW.
Previous best was 11.8@118.

I believe Chris know his ute better than Tim and will run a better time.

It was a great night with heaps of pb's.

I ran 11.87 . 1 hundredth off my best, so at least I,m consistant!

Also last night we we running at over 80% humidity and only 14 degrees. Not really tooo cold but high humdity.

Pretty good night all round. Congrats to Chris/Tim on the result last night. Everyone out there was stoked.
Watching the temp guage on the premo sound, it dropped from 17 deg at the start line down to 13 coming back around at the bottom. But humidity was shocking.
Oh well, at least I managed to drive around 2 crapadores and an Evo. And I was only at 3/4 throttle most of the time, so she still has a bit more in reserve. Just trying to save the box a little.
