Alrighty, given Tab organised a good last cruise, Blonksta is still whinging he missed out, lets do another while the weather is cool.

I had a nice little drive on the weekend (in the company Futura mind you with the family) over some roads that brought back fond memories from my crazy road bike days.

I am happy to help organise a route and get this thing going.

Very roughly ;

Drive up and over Mt Glorious, through Mt Nebo, to Somerset dam, Kilcoy, turn off then up to Peachester / Montville / Maleny through to Landsborough and back down the Bruce.

Alternative to Mt Glorious and Somerset is go to Dayboro and through to Woodford and then Peachester etc.....


So, date???

Does this cruise involve mountainous terrain or very high alltitude driving

Yes Dazz - no mountain goat tracks though.

Most of the high altitude driving is through rainforest so you can't see how far up you are.

Put me down to! This time with the Race recorder DvD cam set up to!

I love the bendy bits, both routes sound good.

A well done to a few of the boys out at WB last night!!

After seeing some funny through the night, I can't even remember who ran what.

I know Paul cracked an 11, Phil (sutty) did some great number in the lumbering GT (farkin quick GT with no noise, no fuss) and lee and herb were pulling some good MPH out of that F6.

Makes me want to try again.

Got the barge into the 11sec club last night. The cooler air made all the difference. 11.99@117.

Paul got 11.89@119 and Herb got 12.1 I think at around 117.

I think the guys are heading out again on Wednesday night.

Can you explain the 'no noise, no fuss' bit... havent really seen many supercharged 8's in the flesh, and only got to follow it for 5mins on the last cruise, so i dont know how quick he is :P

Stupid question, its the belt that makes the noise right? Also the only supercharged car i've driven was a calais... that thing sucked. Does the thrust come on smoother and right from the word go with the super charged v8?
