Car show in ingham QLD.

Just wondering if any of the North Queensland boys will be heading to the Ingham Car & Bike Extravaganza at the Ingham showgrounds 25th, 26th & 27th May? They have burnout and dyno comps should be a good weekend.

I will be going but i wont be entering my car as it is only stock as a rock and cant be bothered paying the 40 or 60 dollars what ever it is to enter, but will be interesting in driving with everyone if we want to all go together ? But i presume the ones entering will probably be leaving the friday.

How far up is Ingham?

16 and a half hours from Brissy. 5 and a half hours north of Mackay. Can you smell a trophy Phoon?

i have heard that there will be a verry powerful xr6 in the dyno comp if it gets tuned in time.

I believe it is getting tuned this weekend! Cant wait to see the numbers! (strip and dyno!)

I live in townsville. only 100km south of INGHAM, the Car Show up here is pretty big, people come from all over. I'll be driving up in my T, well worth the trip

All ill say is keep an eye out for a purple ute on the dyno, and if things fall into place for Dave and Mr X then there will be some BIG numbers!

I will be there as usual, and so will the NQ Peformance Ford Club with a bit of a club display. If any of you mob get here make youself known to us, don"t be shy now.

if I get my turbo mods done and get it retuned I hope to chuck it on the rollers too

i would not get to caried away, it will still be in the 300's i think, but i could be wrong.

Didn't he already make like 350 kw at the wheels before he did these mods ? I thought he handgrenaded his engine, i dont really have any facts i just hear it through the grape vine. It is kent's ute dave ? Come u can tell us we are all friends here

yes it is Kents, i think the motor got noisy last year, so he got it freshened up.

i think it made 340ish with someone else tuning it a while back, but ithink that is what hurt the motor,

i only got about 315 out of it, it might have went a bit higher, but i felt the intakes were to high, so i left it there. it only had a pwr replacement cooler on it at the time, it ran good mph for that tune.

what did the supra get at the wheels?

From memory over 600 hp at the wheels ? but dont quote me on that!

Dont know if it was that much, i thought it was around 500-550hp but dont quote me on that either!
A mate saw it on the rollers at TMS and i believe he said it made ~410 rwkw (although that could have obviously been different in Ingham)

At this stage BLONK I cant make it. My exhaust is farked and I cant see it being fixed before then. Fingers crossed though.

I will be workign saturday morning then packing to move back down south after that.. If I need a break from packing I will head up..

I think there are a few here interested so just make a time and meeting place

I.E. Shell Garbutt 9-00am Saturday and Sunday

To cruise up together.... I may be able to make the Sunday run if I get enough done and saturday.....
