The story will break shortly.British based Carlin Motorsport has reportedly gained a 25% stake in DJR and will take over the full operation at years end.Carlin run a F3 team and a Renault team as well and have been looking to expand into the V8's for some time.This is not all bad news as DJR even with the JB sponsorship they are not to flush with $$$$$.At least DJR will remain afloat and will probably not undergo a name change.This may help them further up the field as well with a strong engineering base.What does it all mean?? All will be revealed in next MN.

Very interesting, I wonderred what would happen when dicky wanted to start stepping back, guess this is a next step, even if it weren't for a few years. That plus the fact ford is scaling back its motorsport $$$, something had to happen. On the flip, its great to have another professional racing time to join in the fun to try n stop the 4 car VE team, you know who i'm talking about.
