Hi Ya Gang,
As you are all prolly aware the HUMBLE PIE II Cruise is set down for the 19th January.............

Having seen what I consider an extremely one sided opinion on car people in The Sunshine Coast Daily noooze paper dated 8th January 07.
I have approached the author (Amy Remeikis) of the article, to attend the Humble Pie II Cruise to witness 1st hand that car people are an extremely well behaved group.

I have done this kind of thing (Cruises & Car Shows) many, many times before and truley hope that all in attendace put on an outstanding display of car people behaviour.
I wish to point out that, the lead article is relaited to a 12 year old caught driving, however they then go on to spray car hoons in a delux fashion.

I ask you all to be on your best behaviour because I have invited,
The Sunshine Coast Daily.
WIN Noooze.
Brisbane Courier Mail.
The Police.
all to attend, and witness for themselve the stella kind of people we attract.

I wish to point out that also several magazines will be on hand armed with cameras and note pads. Be for warned that should anyone be the cause of our great venue be lost to stupidity, we WILL supply the Police with both Photo's and Rego numbers of the said HOONS.

To be honest, it will blow my sox off to actually see it go to air where the media has something good to say about car people for a change. The current road toll has the powers to be sounding alarm bells everywhere but...................
I ask you all this......

How many of the vehicles involved in these sad but true road toll statistics carry all the items that constitute a defects that we the car person attracts???
Over the Christmas Break, there have been grizzly scenes of accidents that have taken away a great many loved ones yet funny enough not one of them have been punting a -:
Tunnel Ram, 20" Wheels, Super Charger, Wheel Tubbs etc etc etc nooooooooo.
The vehicles have beem Mr & Mrs Domestos suffering from Fatigue or Drink Driving, while the people that spend mega dollars on their rolling work of art pay the price............

So. Let's all have a great night, and be diligent by way of not being stooopid and screwing it up for others. 'Cause rest assured, not only will you be reported to the Police should they not get you, but the punters that enjoy the event will also chase you down I'd imagine.

# Call in, have damn good feed and support the Humble Pie as they are supporting us.
# Meet some new people.
# Perv on some cool cars.
# Behave, and possibly be apart of the GOOD side of the media.

A Garage Door Motor to suit either a Rolladoor OR a Panel Lift Door valued at $460 will be raffelled off on the night and will be drawn at 8:30ish PM

Good luck we should get something like this happening in vic once the noble park maccas fiasco settles down.
Maybe one day god help us we can do a national one where cars from each state leave at the same time to start there cruise.


We need to show the authiorities that hoons and enthusiasts are 2 different things.
