After talking to some of the guys today we decided to have a criuse on the 12th of november.

I will post details soon but it will start some where around beenliegh.

And will include some twisty bits.

I'm on a diet(as of Sunday) so I'll come but wont be eating any twisties.

I would love to come along but my brother is getting married on the 11th and I think I will be nursing a sore head in the morning and won't feel like doing much.

Twisty bits, sounds like an excuse to test the new sway bars. Only driven on the bloody freeway since fitting.

Oh add the new tyres as well, and it should be fun.

Hopefully a shortened gear stick and short shifter as well.

Same ones, I boight them from Metro Ford when they had a sale about six mounths ago.

Have done 33580 km on the originals and they are now totally screwed.

Ok the criuse will be from beenliegh at the bp on the highway.

9 am meet for 9.30 getaway.

We will travel from beenleigh to tambourine village and turn left and go up tambourine mountian where will will park and have a look around the main village and have morning tea.about an hour or so here.
Than we will come down of the mountian as the road down to canaugra is blocked we will have to go down henry roberts drive and than to canaugra that way.

We will than proceed back to tambourine village for lunch at a mystry stop.

Plenty of parking and there is food avaible and plenty of seating.

From there back though canaugra and onto beechmount and than down to nerang and home from there.

Sound like fun! When I went up to the Lamington National Park last year from the Gold Coast, I think some of the name places you mentioned rang a bell. I do remember the roads up to the Lamington NP were a great drive.

Didn't really take photos of the roads but he's a pic near O'Reilly's from atop the tree top lookout.

Top day, plenty of spirited driving on the lovely winding mountain roads, good company, perfect weather, flames out of Goldies exhaust and sparks from the muffler when bottoming out at high speed on bumpy road. Good cruise Ian, well done. Oh and we went here and here and a few other places.

Just finished cleaning the car, and add three decent stone chips to the collection.

I wonder where they came from. Bloody Mercedes drivers thinking they own the road.

What do you mean Ian, the roads weren't narrow, for a mountain bike that is. Sideways is always fun and was pi##ing myself laughing when the flames were shooting out of your exhaust. All in all, rating the day on the
Phoon funometer, it scored a 10.
