KPM Motorsport is holding a dyno shootout to find Adelaides biggest power BA/BF ford.
all Ford BA/BF cars are welcome including N/A , turbo, supercharged both 6 and 8 cylinders
We are having 2 prizes

1) Outright winner ( BIGGEST POWER ) Hot laps at MALLALA Circuit with 3 Times Australian Saloon Car Champion Bruce Heinrich. PLUS Trophy.

2)Overall Winner ( HANDICAP SYSTEM ) Race Driver training Day at MALLALA Circuit in your own car PLUS Trophy.

Have fun and find out how your car compares for bragging rights on a level playing field against other similar Fords OR get serious and prove what youve got to take out Outright winner or Overall winner and be able to call your with PROOF, Adelaides Most Powerful Ford . Winners will be posted on the Forum as Adelaides Most Powerful Ford.
We hope this will tempt some of the interstate guys to come over in future and have a go at the S.A guys.

WILL BE HELD ON SAT. SEPTEMBER 9
Entry $30 per car (MUST be paid before 2nd September in FULL to register)
Snags $1 / Cans $1 will be available during the day.

Hi again guys

We have decided because of the spectator interest on our dynoshoot out day
Sat 9 Sept. we will be giving a trophy for best presented spectator car. (Of course Must be a Ford)
All you need to do is post your name and car on the forum before Saturday and turn up, park your car pop your hood if you like.
We will throught the morning have 2 guys walking around the car park checking out your cars and we will present the trophy at 12 oclock.
Should be fun

Due to a number of people pulling out for Saturday 9 due mainly to the Football finals we have decided to postpone the dyno day until sat 7 oct.
We want this to be a succesful event and worth spectators coming out to see and only a dozen cars left registered is in our opinion a bit low on numbers.
We will contact all that have paid either refund them or credit you until sat 7oct.Will keep ypu posted on details.

FORD HOLDEN SHOW TESTED
TUNING AUSTRALIA'S HIGHEST POWER XR6T, TYPHOON
AND XR8 ( SUPER CHARGED)[COLOR=red]
at this stage we are looking at a handicap system that looks as follows:

XR6 N/A START WITH 195rwkw HANDICAP

XR6 Turbo START WITH 40 rwkw HANDICAP

V8s N/A START WITH 95 rwkw HANDICAP

V8s Turbo/Supercharged START WITH 0 rwkw HANDICAP

This system is designed to give only cars with substantial modifications a relatively
even chance of achieving similar figures as cars of other configirations with substantial mods.
It will not work for near standard cars to be compared against each other.

eg. if you own a xr6 N/A with good mods and achieve 165 rwkw plus 195 rwkw
handicap your total will be 360 rwkw.
up comes an XR6 Turbo also with good mods, and achieves 315 rwkw plus
40 rwkw handicap , its total will be 355 rwkw.

in this example the XR6 N/A wins the shootout
our reasoning behind this handicap is in our opinion and experiance it would take similar effort and costs on uprading the xr6 N/A for 165 rwkw as it would in upgrading the xr6 Turbo for 315 rwkw.
this thinking and method has been put into the handicap system on all the cars above.
IN NO WAY do we think this is a perfect system but if everyone agrees to the handicaps by payment and registering before the day it will make for GREAT FUN and a very interesting day .

just to let all know we are definately set for this saturday.
dont forget we are havin a show and shine for spectators with a trophy prize so bring out the bling and pop the hood.
