Guys, I personally need this done as evidenced yesterday.

I will put something to everyone around SE Qld. If I purchase one of these myself,

http://www.guardroller.com.au/index.html

would anyone else like to "rent it" off me to do their own guards? Check the video, it is dead easy to do yourself. I would just give you the machine to do your own at your leisure.

I don't know how much the thing is yet - I wouldn't imagine it would be more than $400-$600 surely. I don't want to make any money out of this, I just want to cover the cost of the machine.

Is anyone interested??

Are you going to flare them? Is this what this tool does?
F6 RAPID
No mate, folds them back underneath. If you feel under your rear guard, the lip is at a 90 degree angle facing back towards the tyre. This thing just folds it straight up and away from the tyre.

I have a lump of water pipe which I'll charge you nothing for, why not just get a quality body shop to do it shorty

Judging by this overwhelming demand, I may just do that mate.

you could forego the heat gun with a burnout or two laughing.gif

Seems like an easy enough DIY way of getting it done. If there was a large enough market out there for this thing, I'd consider doing it.....Gotta be better then the pooh.gif I put up with day in - day out, ROFL.

Thanks Dave !! spoton.gif

I think I will check out a few places Simon. I just don't want anyone scratching my wheels taking them off or putting them on. Might just put the stockies back on and stand there and watch them like a hawk! Or take them off myself.

Can I add in here that a hairdryer and a mattock handle did the job quite nicely.

Didn't scrape once at the Drive day! spoton.gif

Well done Shane, I knew you'd manage it easily without spending boatloads of dough
