Have you been to East Point yet, I got over two speed humps did a ten point turn and left. Be quicker for me to drive to Katherine, anyway I know there's more XRT owners up here, some more involved would be good

Hey Guys, count me in!!

Mine's arriving at the dealers THIS tuesday :D :D so I'm hopeing to pick it up on Friday, I'd love to go on a cruise but with running in and all, I think Id have to have a good headstart ;)
P.S My Girlfriend has offered a BBQ at the end of the run, she lives in Katherine

Well lets pick a date! I reckon early July would be the go say the weekend of the 5th July. How is everyone placed?

Last weekend in June is the V8 Supercars at Hidden Valley.

We are planning to go all to Alice starting that weekend in July and thought it would be good to combine the trips.

sixfan is there a chance that u will still be able to make 5 July? If not we may have to think about the weekend of 21-22 June.

:( I don't know how much longer I'll be up here, the mine is shutting down...
I will hopefully get a better idea next week of where Im being sent and when

We are good to go on the 05 July 03 for the run to Katherine. I'll work on getting us out to the Air Base for a look at the F18's (no promise's) and a swim/beer (I will promise that).

We are going. TopEndTurbo is checking out accommodation this week as well as a trip to the RAAF base Tyndal.

We have to work out rendezvous points etc, but will post them probably next week. Do you have any suggestions? Let us know here or email me directly.

Any others on the Forum want to go on the run let us know!! Katherine here we come! :D

After much discussion and a lot of deliberation, we are there.

Darwin - Katherine Run.

Meet on the Esplanade opposite the Novotel Atrium at 8am.

Leave Esplanade at 8:30.

Rendezvous Point is poolside at Knotts Crossing Resort around lunch time.

There are lots of interesting places between here and there, Edith Falls, Pine Creek, Adelaide River, so there is plenty of time to cruise and stop along the way.

TopEndTurbo has sussed out $99 a night for a Village Room at KCR or $85 for a cabin (outside bathroom).

G'day Gents,

I can't wait to catch up with you all and take the "turbo" for a spin down the highway. I will bring the bucket and sponge so we can give the turbos a quick spruce up before the photo's.

If anyone else is interested StevoD and myself are going to the V8 Supercar doo at Frost Ford on Friday at 6.00pm and maybe onwards to the Ford Bar (Lizards) afterwards for a couple?? of beers. We will be easy to spot in our striking FordXR6Turbo.com caps.
