OK Guys lets get it together for another spin.

Last word was a night time cruise ( anyone got rice ) So lets have some suggestions for a route, date and time then we can all settle on it.
Maybe it would be a good idea if we all cruise through town and line up all the T's outside a pub for a couple of light beers.

So lets hear some suggestions.

You dont have to drink but some ideas for a cruise would be good.

A trip to Yanka sounds good to me. Start down on victoria drive near the Uni and head off from there.

My friend Daniel has a shack at Normanville...we go down there for Lan's all the time...and there's the german sausage place on the way...theyve got like THE ABSOLUTE BEST~~~!!!!! potato salad you could ever imagine eating!!!

Night time cruise sounds ok, as long as it is not saturday night as there are so many idiots out there plus there are hundreds of cops out there, most in unmarked cars (magnas, barra wagons, VYs and SS's).

Nothing better than standing on the Stag balcony drinking and watching all the ricers being idiots and getting busted on East Tce by the ever present unmarked Bronze VY Exec! One time a black RX7 turning off Rundle Street onto East Tce heading towards Grenfell gunned it (in the wet), back stepped out bigtime, over corrected and looped it in front of the Stag. He got an almighty cheer.

I think it's agreed that cruising the city is a total waste, but the idea is to meet and cruise down to yankers(or where ever).........lets get the dates rolling...saturday night 10th or 17th at 5.00pm lets say windy point

Yeah VIK has special upholstery Instead of Plexis Carbon he has Charcoal. Its a special odour reducing panel in the seat.

Hi all just an FYI post. I was just down at Ex Tech and bummped into VIK351 and it seems ha has been banned from the site for 12 months. apparently the mods didnt like the content of one of his PM's. So just so you all know they are being read.

I just phoned Vik and had a long chat.

He can't even access the forum at present so I can say what I like about him without repercussions.

He has apologised to the powers-that-be for typically Vik-like intemperate comments about a moderator that he sent in a PM (personal message) to another (very) prolific poster from banana-bending territory.

So, let's see what comes of Vik's heart-felt apologies. If that doesn't soften the hard hearts of officialdom, then I think we have to take more drastic measures in support of the old rat-bag.

This site needs Vik. SA posters, in particular, have to be united in fixing this travesty of justice.

Boost's car is awesome. and it is the NIZPRO kit.
It certainly is an incredibly quick car. Had me yearning for the kit after just one short drive.

OK cruise details :Section 1
Meet at Windy Point rest/pub car park at 6.15 pm leaving at 6.45 at the latest.From there up the hill to Blackwood and on to Coromandel Valley.Coro to Clarendon,McLaren Flat,The Range and regroup at the top of old Willunga Hill Rd.This section is tight, very windy,has off camber corners so be on your toes!

Section 2
On to Myponga fast flowing road but a bit bumpy and down to Yankalilla,a great little track most of us are familiar with.Regroup at Yank get eats/drinks and onto Normanville jetty get a bit of sea air and see Voys love shack with German stuff maybe we can bludge a coffee.(your call Cain!).From there to Carrickalinga then up the hill to Myponga reservoir(brilliant piece of road but not long enough)and drive over the dam wall which is lit up and might be a photo opportunity.

Section3
Option 1
Head inland on the Hindmarsh Valley Rd to Pt Elliot and regroup there,then to Currency Creek, Ashbourne and onto Meadows,a very challenging and fun piece of road.Regroup at Meadows then onto Echunga,Mylor.End of cruise thankyou,s and best wishes.

Option 2
Head down Sellicks Hill to Old Noarlunga onto the Southern Expressway down Goody Rd and into the city where Glen or Voy could take over for some quiet laps of the CBD ,check out the passing parade,stop for a coffee and a chat (maybe just Macca,s or something)Good byes and good wishes.An option which might appeal to the to the younger blokes.

Please state your preference for the 3rd section and we,ll see which way the wind blows.
As always speed limits and road rules will be obeyed,maps supplied on the day.

Just a couple of thoughts,firstly I,d very much like to take up Glens idea of a Barossa cruise ,haven,t been there for years and also Viks idea for a trip to Clare but not overnight for us as we have an 18 mth old girl.Ok just a bit of feedback and its on.

Nice pieces of road MR X,,, food for thought :lol: only 1 query is the myponga dam wall is closed at night and the last time i went from carra to the dam it was 95% finished as a sealed surface...But the turn off to go to the dam wall is excellent for circle work ...All nice roads down there i'm up for the extented cruiser section 3 option 1
