  3. I did notice that it kinda looked like it was inspired from a goldfish. Mebbe Scotty can post some more pics of his car so op can get a better idea of what it looks like.

  5. Whilst the valve springs are probably a bit crap by now, the symptoms you describe fit fuel starvation symptoms to a tee. I have see it first hand on my wideband, going through first and second fine and then leaning out in third, then recovering after backing off for a few seconds. This was mostly fixed by replacing the fuel filter. I have also replaced the pump with a bigger unit and modified the swirl pot but this won't be necessary on a stock car. It wouldn't hurt to replace the pump with a walbro 255 if you're unsure about the stock pump. If it was getting a belting before you got it and it was leaning out regularly that certainly could have contributed to breaking it. There could be other factors as well but that's neither here nor there. Of course this might not be what's happening with your car but it fits the description. Also you can hire a tool from Mace engineering slightly cheaper than Atomic.

  6. Mate I'm wrecking my BA and have the phone power adaptor plugged in under the dash. I always liked it because I could splice into it without cutting into factory wiring and could therefore unplug my own wiring if I was chasing a fault. If you PM me your address I'll send it to you for free. Already has some wiring spliced into it that you can join too. As Keith says, it doesn't help with on with headlights issue though.

  8. I used to drive VXs and VZs heap for work when I had my EL. The gearboxes were chalk and cheese. The Daewoos were rubbish. I've always liked the BTR - super smooth and good ratio spacing. After a few weeks with the ZF though, I'm in love.

  10. It’s because we can tune the automatic gearboxes for two different modes ( performance over to the left ) and normal ( straight down into “D” ) its common to leave normal mode smooth and seamless and then have performance mode in a more agressive engagement style best of both worlds some would say

  12. For some reason 850GB of games across 2 drives has uninstalled themselves from Steam. They're still on the drives but not in Steam. Any ideas? Edit: There are still a bunch installed on the C drive though. Edit2: Ok that was a quick fix. I went to Steam/Settings/Downloads/Steam Library Folders in the Steam app and re added the folders. The games came back up as installed. Weird man.
