  2. The detergent is slow but low effort. Not much scrubbing required, more just use a hard plastic scraper to pop it off, no need to scrub. Me likey.

  3. Tip for getting burnt on crud off of pots and pans Saturate burnt crud in pure undiluted detergent and leave it overnight, it comes off fairly easy in chunks then. Possibly need two applications if you totally I <3 Bananased it. Should work as long as the metal isn't actually damaged, I've used it myself once and is a tip from a friend that owns a cleaning business.

  6. Wouldn't worry about the coiled up cable stripes. 99% of gas hot water system cables are like that and I've seen no problems

  7. ^WHS. Would have been like $6k to install solar...pass. And pretty much everyone has pretty much said that instantaneous gas hot water systems are the go. Haha well the old system shat itself yesterday (on a public holiday, of course!) so they came out and isolated it so we could still use running water...just no hot water. Said they'd come out 10:30 today and replace it. I originally just told them to replace it with what was there before...but couldn't sleep last night and felt a little unsure about it so did a bunch of reading and based on what I read and everything everyone else was telling me I text the guy back and said I wanted a big instantaneous gas system...and now I have one. They did a pretty tidy job too!
