  1. Nearly done. Got the diff bracket pretty much finished just ran out of steel for the top plate. Chassis bracket almost done just need to pick up some new longer bolts tomorrow n weld that together. Just ignore the average welding haha camera flash makes it look shocking. Was using the farther in laws gasless MIG and it was a bit sh*t. Should come up nice after a tickle with a flap disk

  2. The purists aren't going to be happy but all going to plan, I'm hoping to run the Haltech IQ3 Street display. I've chopped into a spare facia to get an idea of how I'd make a flat area for the panel, plus create space for other gauges such as eboost2, start button, etc. After doing the mock-up in cardboard plus putting some photos to scale on it, I'm happy with how it would look. I'll now get an aluminium infill made with the intention to glass it in then blend in and refinish as close to factory (in black) as possible. I'll back mask and do some chrome highlights around the border etc. The original warnings (park brake and so on) I'll probably leave dead as the IQ Street has them incorporated.

  3. Fark pixy.. I mean holy sh*t.. I remember looking at your plans ages ago. That water is not good. If this is on the lower levels and the waterproofing is gone behind your retaining.. well sh*t.. Damn man. Not slagging all builders but that 'your fault not mine' is something ive heard way too many times. Just recently did a walk through of a mates house after they finished framing it all up and two of the roof trusses had massive fractures in them. Builder agreed they needed to be replaced but said they couldnt enact the 16 week penalty if he didnt complete if they made him get them replaced. I <3 Bananas me man.. they could fracture at any point. Pixy ive got no advice you probably havent heard. Just take it one step at a time mate. You deserve that house to be brilliant.

  7. Good job January 2012, 1 random post then BAM today with another random post. I personally just yell choochoo or fish for my turbo noises. It's cheaper that way.

  9. 10am at museum sounds great. Will be in contact during the morning with Gary should he be early, or us late. It opens at 10, so around then will work well Will probably be going with cooked brekkie and coffees at the park in the morning. Should give us a more relaxed start to the day and less pressure on any heavy sleepers Will have to see who takes home the inaugural championship. http://motor.history.sa.gov.au/events/2016/race-virtual-reality

  11. Check the rubber joiner on the throttle body. Mine split & it was pretty hard to see without taking it of. Have you acces to a compressor? What I do is with a old inner tube cut around the valve stem & clamp this around the hose. Now you can pressurize each part of the system & check for leaks by simulating boost ( use a tyre guage & remeber 20 psi should be more than enough)

  12. I'm pretty much copying the malwood kit. Should have pics tomorrow of it installed. Made a start on the front n rear brackets today. Only $40 in steel plate/pipe. $200 for the rods for both sides, LH thread heim joints and Nissan bushes/housing with RH threaded rod. So unlike the malwood kit it can be adjusted without removing a heim joint. All up will cost me less than $300 Gave under the tub a wash today. Came up pretty good. Used k&n airfilter cleaner as a degreaser. Worked bloody brilliant. Pic below shows how far the diff pinion is already pointing too the sky.
