sm13f6 Member 34 Member For: 9y 14d Posted 22/08/17 08:54 AM Share Posted 22/08/17 08:54 AM hey guys got a bf f6 with zf auto on the weekend it started playing up while I was at the drags in performance or tiptronic mode when it would go to change gear it would just have a massive pause until it got the next gear , pretty much just delayed and then would pick the next gear , auto is still running the standard auto tune in it car makes around 480kw , im just wondering if the box is tired ( cars done 220,000ks and box was ment to have been rebuilt by rvo before I got the car ) and on its way out or if someone else has had similar issue and was a simple fix , thanks scott Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it has been rebuilt then one would assume that the bushings, solenoids, clutches and various seals have been replaced. If it has new bits in it then you should just be looking to replace one or more clutch packs and then get it tuned. You could try getting it tuned as is but it may be too late. Do some research as you essentially have a rebuilt box that should need very little work to get working properly.
